Leach Gonna Leach

Where is he coaching?

Washington State. Dropped a game in Seattle to Rutgers last night. QB threw the ball all over the field, but like OP said they could do nothing else well. Still almost won but fumbled in a big spot on a punt return late.

He would come here and instantly make us MNC contenders.

There was nothing more annoying and foolish than the subset of Canes fans who jerked off to this clown (and still do) simply bc he would drop 70 on Rice and Houston and Baylor and Kansas.

Oh yeah, Mike Leach is exactly what we needed . . . goofy, shoot-from-the-hip, look-at-me head coach. And, of course, isn't concerned with the defensive side of the ball.

Our talent in Leach's system would be epic. Period. I am firmly convinced that Leach's system has not reached it's full potential based solely on the caliber of talent he's restricted to (Texas Tech/Wash St.). And for those of you yappin' about Leach's defenses....have you taken a gander at our **** lately? L-O-L

Right, because our defense would be BETTER with Mike Leach. SMH. You people would be begging to get Mark D'Onofrio back.
Wait, so the concern about Leach is that our defense might be bad? Ok, carry on.

If you had the attention span to start at the beginning of the thread, you would see that I mentioned the defense, running game, and losing as concerns on a team coached by Mike Leach.

No one was yappin' about Leach's defense because he doesn't have one. It's not a priority to him. He is a passing game coordinator.

Soooooo....you say that to say what??? <glib>

Noooo? He's a head coach with a **** of a system that, if infused with South Florida talent, would be absolutely SICK. Does his defenses suck? Yes. Does our defense suck? Yes. Is our offense "SICK"? No. Therefore, one can reasonably conclude that Leach, as HC of the Miami Hurricanes, would fare better than what we currently have. K? The issue of whether or not defense is a "priority" to either HC is red herring. It's the results that matter, and right now, defensively both are yielding sh1tty results.

As far as the running game goes, again, one can reasonably conclude that a RB core of Duke Johnson/Joe Yearby yields far better results (than whomever happens to be Wash St.'s RB core) in the run game.
