LB Gavin Nix commits to Miami... flips to Oregon 12/3

This came out of nowhere no? I knew they turned the heat up on Melendez wasn’t expecting nix to flip. Looking like a disaster on defense and play in a bad conference will do that for you.

This whole broke narrative is just people making up bull****.

Every P4 team in 2025 will be able to pay their student athletes up to $20.5M per year if their admin wants to fund the athletic budget. Our new President will definitely fully fund that.

75% of that will go to football so our starting point of $15M that we spent this year on NIL is already covered.

Then on top of that we will have whatever the new NCAA rules on NIL allow.

We aren't Texas but we will have plenty of money to pay players with.

I can just speak on the person I know directly who was involved heavily in bringing Cam to Miami. He felt like it was money wasted with how the season played out and people w that large of pockets hate feeling like they’re wasting money.

But no, we’re mopes and hate Miami, and love seeing the program burn.

Follow the steps these next 72 hours (and then the winter portal season), and the answer won’t be too hard to find.

We have money. Whether we use it, will speak volumes.

Trenches/QB/DBs is where the money should be spent. We spent on a WR and RB we didn't need. I know they were going all in but why not treat DT with same aggression they did at QB? Should be a lesson going forward

I still can’t grasp why dude has any sort of position of power. If he was on any other staff, we would be clowning him. He is a cornier and less professional version of Tim Brewster sans the results.
I knew the jig when a recruit was cradling him like a newborn. Dudes a ******* loser who’s hitched himself to Mario similar to a parasite in its hosts body. Unfortunately he’s not going anywhere.

Cam Ward wasn't a waste of money - he was arguably the best QB in CFB.

Tyler Baron sure as **** was, though.

I hope so, the price for these kids keeps going up and our bread is coming down. Let’s see I’d love to be wrong
Maybe your guy is upset. The news about the recruits definitely isn’t good. But pretty sure there is still a strong NiL and we’re going to portal hard. Now The Dennis smith stuff yea idk and I don’t get why he’s still here
