No longer a University Of Miami commit 🏈 I am now opening my recruitment process ‼️

To me this raises a couple questions. Is this strictly based off Richt Evals or were these kids rushed into committing by Goldens staff in an attempt to save their jobs? Can't tell the difference because I thought Kearny was a real take.

Not even mad. Wish there was a restart button so Mark Richt could truly start this his first class from zero. The stinch of Golden pressuring and accepting commitments from anybody still lingers. Like Richt reiterated on Signing Day kids should commit when they know for sure that is where they want to go.

I thought he was solid.... oh well, it was a little weird with so many offers going out LBs with 3 already committed. DBs I can see why but not LBs. Maybe all these new offers are rubbing the original commits the wrong way.

I've always liked him. He really showed his worth this year. Was all-state first team. Had a huge year.

no need for the new staff to honor the previous staff's verbals. They will identify and recruit their own guys. Ross should open up at some point also.

So is he still coming for Jr day? A lot of offers have gone out to lbs the last week or so. Not worried. Take a south Florida kid.

I think Richt is asking these kids to back off their pledges to -

^Lower the heat on the school in the lead.
^Make sure that the staff likes the kid, and the kid likes the new staff.

That first one is speculation. Jimbo Fisher was talking about it earlier this week w/ Joe Rose. Charley Strong also alluded to it in his Signing Day presser.

Folden pushed as many guys as he could to commit early in order to make it look like he was turning the ship around. It was Snake Oil 101.

It's a good idea for Richt to tell all the prior commits to de-commit if they're not 100% certain sure. UM needs to start playing the game a little better and quit looking desperate with so many early commits from guys who aren't really committed. UM looks like a tampon when they get commits from guys who then do 100 interviews saying they're kind of committed and looking forward to their visit to ______.

If you go out of SoFla to offer a kid Kearney is at the top of your list.

But something had to give. I couldnt see us taking 6 linebackers in this class. And there are alot of studs this year and we know a guy like Deandre Wilder has a guaranteed spot. They will wait until NSD for him.

To see that Dunning has been slow played and that Kearney is "opening things up" I am wondering if they just want to hit the reset button and start fresh. Because on the path we were on we really only had 2 spot left and one was going to be for Wilder. AND thats if we were taking 5 linebackers.

Maybe Richt wants him to visit in person, get to know the staff before "committing."

Believe someone mentioned Richt won't accept a commit before the recruit visits campus.
