Thoughts on Carney vs wright? Imo carney looks like the better pass rusher and fit for our system. Seems very explosive

Been on Carney. Don't understand how he's a 3 star, but regardless I want him here.

Carney will most likely go to FSU... I'll take Wright's upside over him.

Carney is the more polished pass rusher as of now, but Wright is a better all around athlete & has a much higher ceiling than Carney.

You always post good stuff @Liberty City El; I like Wright's upside as well, however there's something about Carney that gives me that it factor, especially in coach Kool's hand. Let me ask, if FSU has a down year, and we beat them, do you think that changes his mind?

As for Carney, Idk, from what he recently has said, he seems to be a lot more on board with FSU than us...
I think he's had an axe to grind because we didn't make him a priority from the jump, he's visited them more often than us & when asked how much of role does his older brother already playing on the team factor in for him, he basically said none at all, so that pretty much sealed it for me lol.
I could be wrong, but Idk if he signs with us & if he doesn't, give me Wright all day.

Bring in Donaldson and Telfort and then possibly swap out Dykstra and we have a solid OL haul.

dykstra is solid..looks to be an interior lineman here....we need to flip telfort though i like him alot. slaton looks like the ship sailed..but he would be a huge get

Dykstra was getting ate alive at Paradise Camp. I would gladly swap out Dykstra if that means we can flip Leatherwood, who will be at our biggest game.

I saw the tape. That was probably his first time going against legit div 1 products.

In fact the ol I was most impressed with is the big fat kid from Missouri that committed to Oklahoma.
In that film though we got to see what position they like the kids though

They had LT- Leatherwood, LG- Fat Kid FROM Missouri, c- Scaife, RG- Dykstra, RT- Donaldson

Yeah, I really wanted that kid who committed to OU to come here. He really impressed me, as well. My ? marks are up on Dykstra...his dad even suggested he wasn't used to that type of speed. Well, it only gets faster on the next level. I dunno man; I wanna see his high school highlights this year to see if he's improved on the snap get off, leveraging, and have a little more "chippiness" to him.

Hey Dude, so you don't like the article. Good for you. Barry Jackson is probably the best reporter in Miami. He's always been a UM guy too.

I'm trying to see it objectively, OP, and overcome by psychological childhood trauma, but the dude went to my high school and the little I remember is that he was like Ronald McDonald Miller from the movie "Can't Buy Me Love"... except he doesn't get the girl in the end like Patrick Dempsey.
