There's a poster on TOS that is not personally connected to anyone involved other than to speak with people who have access to them. He's been consistent in saying for the past two days that there are people with $$ who want change but don't have direct power to affect the change and they haven't been able to organize themselves into a single, cohesive group to make a big enough stand.

He mentioned that the people he speaks with ventured the opinion that if they were in Blake James shoes right now, the SOP would be to create more stories and misdirections about what is going on. He was told to expect more leaks, more third party leaks using different 'sources', and some planted stories that are highly likely to be from different sources to establish broader credibility. Sorta of a 'false flag' scenario. This is designed to give the perception that something is happening and they have been heard in order to keep a faction that shares interests from coordinating their efforts and continuing to move forward in with those efforts.

He also said that the end goal of all this is to drag it out long enough that these $$ people resume their regular routine and business activities and it eventually cools down...

Sounds a little like what is already happening.

Okay so let Maverick get this straight....Blake James who took a few hours to hire Manny Diaz now wants more time to decide on a potentially program changing position and bringing in a person that will actually hold people accountable?? To top it off, little Manuela Diaz has a say so as to how much power this person will have after going 6-7 with a soft schedule including a loss to FIU?!?! The ****kkk is going on?!?!
 
So, we have pushed through to another level of administrative incompetence. Figures.

So, basically Manny wants to make the OC decision without Highsmith's input and wants to be Highsmith's boss if he were hired in spite of having just fielded easily the worst Miami football team in modern history. Worse still, at what point does the administration wake up and recognize Highsmith is more qualified than our current demonstrated failure of an AD and fire Blake's enabling a$$. That Blake is not forcing Manny to accept Highsmith on whatever terms will get him back home is just further evidence of Blake's ineptitude and yet another reason he needs to go.

So the reports of Beta Blake and Manny Jr. not wanting Highsmith are untrue, it's a FUNDRAISER that is to blame for not giving Alonzo the power that he needs?

Yeah, if I was having trouble believing you before, you just made things worse.

The only scenario that will create change is if they fire flake

Highsmith put out public feelers out there to build sentiment and push for a position.

It worked.

Blake--being Blake--got suckered into the talk and was forced to comment on it.

Now, everyone is scrambling to create/define a role and do it on an urgent timeline where its clear that such a role will have implications both for the coaching staff, the athletic department and the admin. It's just a mess.

They all need to sit down and come up with a solution and stop leaking IMO. Figure something out that everyone can live with. But let's find a role for Alonzo.

I already stated in previous post, he is backing off giving the power zo needs to do his job the way he wants to do it
 
Like i said yesterday this is a good thing for Blake ti do. It takes all the pressure off of him if he gives up total control of football. He doesnt need Mannys approval for this

Lot of rambling here. So people are trying to delay, so the people who change forget about things and go on with their lives? Or they are sending out fake info to throw those people off?
