How is it a fantasy to speculate that an NFL personnel exec will help with recruiting evaluations? Who said anything about directly recruiting players?

Don't think we it's about recruiting. The man was with the Packers before Browns. He knows how an organization should be run. As someone who was the head of pro scouting he knows what to look for. So while not recruiting he would know who we should be recruiting. But your right while a step in the right direction we would still need other changed and this move won't fix things over night. I think it would help "recruit" the right coaches though.

No way a guy with his resume would know what a good player looks like , or how to oversee a football program. He only has 20+ years experience.
