I think Kiffins gone after the season

I'm surprised he's made it this long. He was a nightmare at USC but I still think he's going to be a good HC one day.

Can't believe South Carolina passed on him for Muschamp. Blows my mind. I could see Kentucky getting him if Stoops chokes again.

Texas AM and Baylor

I think fedora is going to be up for both of those jobs

Hope so, but why would he leave UNC? Baylor is probably a step down and Auburn is probably lateral to maybe a slight step up...but not enough to uproot everything

Fedora has UNC rolling. Could see them winning 10/11 on a yearly basis for a while and being a big pain in our ***

They probably have to be favored to win the coastal again

UNC will eventually get hit with sanctions. That's why I think he might leave for a Texas job. He is from Texas being born in college station home of A&M. He previously coached at Baylor. So a Texas job would be a logical move for him.

The right coach could win big at A&M. You could make a case for that being the best job in the country

I could see A&M but I don't think there's much of an upgrade in Fedora over Sumlin, unless Fedora has another year like 2015 or better. If Texas A&M is making a move, they're going all out for Herman. Nobody in their right mind would take that Baylor job if you have a good job already.

I've been saying Fedora to LSU makes a ton of sense. They're dying to get some offense at LSU and outside of Jimbo I'd say Fedora is the perfect fit. He recruited Louisiana at Southern Miss. But I'd also throw Herman in the mix there if that job came open this year.

Most likely there will be a lot of coaching turnover this season just like there was last season. I agree that I don't think Fedora is much of an upgrade either over Sumlin. But with a mediocre season Sumlin will be gone because he is under too much pressure now. And once the dust settles on the coaching changes I believe Fedora will probably be A&M's best option.

I think Herman will probably be at the top of the list for A&M, if they don't mind taking another Houston HC, but he will have better options available like an LSU, Oregon, Texas, ect.

OP already kinda mentioned it, but this kid would be a legitimate high 4 star CB if he chose to play that position as well.

i think this gives us and LSU hope. bama is known commodity. he is either waiting to see if les miles gets fired or he is waiting to see how we do under richt.

5-star wide receiver Devonta Smith has new decision date - Lsu - Scout

Sounds like top prospects are starting to figure out what bama really is about...

Alabama was thought to be the team that Smith would commit to this past Monday, but he cautioned that it's not all about winning and the program.
"It's a good school. Who wouldn't want to go to Alabama? It's not all about winning and tradition though. It's about where you feel comfortable at because you've got to play there your four years," Smith said following a scrimmage on Saturday. "You could be winning, but you might not be playing at all. I'm pretty sure everyone there wants to play. It's not really all about that tradition. It's about the best opportunity for me."
Miami has continued to tell Smith what Mark Richt has been telling him since he became coach at Miami.
"He just tells me I've trusted him once and I should trust him again."
Smith isn't worried about deciding soon and is focused on his senior season. Not to tip his hand anywhere, Smith just talked about comfort being the main factor.
"They're all good schools. It's just going to be a matter of which one I'm most comfortable at."
