Latest on Battle

Urb won't get fired immediately, but this will be a death by 1,000 cuts scenario:
  • Whiney b*tch Zach is going to keep yapping and make things worse
  • More trustees and administrators are going to go public that they did not support the weak punishment
  • McMurphy is about to ratchet things up again. He's not going away any time soon.
  • OSU will lose more recruits - gonna say now that they won't sign Battle
  • Arrogant Urb will continue to defend his actions and stand by his 'no guilt' declaration though OSU wants him to be very sympathetic and show remorse - which will not happen. The relationship will strain.
  • There's already speculation that he will be pushed out at the end of the season which gives them time to land a big fish replacement
  • This distraction is going to linger all season and will definitely wear on the players. They will lose some games they shouldn't lose.
It's going to be a circus and I see him quitting just like he did at UF.

Will be fun to watch.

He’ll step down after the season , him being ripped apart and viewed as piece of crap will eat him alive. His fake “ good guy” persona at least with the media was all he had.
 
OSU trying to fabreeze the **** out this stank. Eventually they’ll realize that they’re gonna have to get rid of him to freshen up the air.
