Tears Last Nerve III: Head to Head Against Deion (was Neon Deion Coaching Megathread)

I'm ok with the merge, but in theory, my thread was a recruiting thread at its core (check the lists in the OP). When this all settles down (if it ever does), can it relocate back to the recruiting forum?
I can send it back to the recruiting forum at that point and add something in there about Deion’s recruiting while leaving a permanent link in the eye in the sky as well but, to no fault of yours, your thread also became a Deion Haters Club Destination so I merged them. All views on this now are attributed to your initial thread.

Coach subPrime is giving all his guys the Mark Pope treatment now.
Even that was bull****.
Leaves it up to the team but gives them no details and basically guides them to the decision he wanted.
Like pope or not, that was a raw deal and bull****. "This brother let his team down (never says how so) he was given a chance (what happened in the past and what 'chance' was never said). But he brings it up in front of a team meeting instead of a few captains behind closed doors.
When the first 'chance' happened, you normally get the position leader and tell them 'yo, xyz is ******* up, connect with him and help get him on track'.

He tried to make an example out of him but it only works if there is some context. Not a bull**** 'vote'

I don't know if the team did or didn't have the details in the Mark Pope situation. I thought the team did know, at least some of them, of the details. Regardless if the details were known or not known by the team, it was wrong of Deion to let that be posted on social media for all the world to see.

It was a vote of one. Not a "family" vote.

Colorado is going to have the #1 transfer portal class. And it won’t be close.

And they still may not have more than a 2 deep at every single position.
Colorado lost at least 63 players from last year's team. He had better have the all-time portal class, and Colorado's boosters better be ready to invest double what A&M put into their 2022 signing class.

This is basically 1989 SMU, but with the ability to sign more than 25 players.

If he recruits out of HS like the portal he will stack a mean class.

It was F-ing totally classless...

I just dont buy this Colorado hype man. Im sorry i dont care if its Deion or whomever. Plus i dont see him sticking around there. He basically chose somewhere out the way in a league he feel he could dominate with no establish power at the time. But he gonna get smoked by USC and Oregon like embarrassed.

He better have grabbed a bunch of 4 and 5 star portal kids ( and from what I’ve seen most of the top guys to the portal have signed elsewhere) cause with next years schedule he’s not winning more than 2-3 games even if he does….

CU better be ready cause he’s about to destroy their program before he leaves in a couple years cause he’s jumping as soon as he gets the chance…this prick could care less about anyone not named Deion or Sheppard or shedied or whatever the fck his kids name is.CU has two years and this guy will be putting billboards up advertising himself wherever there an opening.

**** of it is another dumbass AD will fall for his BS act and bring him in to destroy their program cause by that time I’ve gotta believe the smart kids with even smarter parents will have seen through his bull****…

He's created so many roster openings that he would need to take 45-50 all of the committed (and future committed players) to Alabama and Georgia in the 2024 cycle. And have the NIL dollars to compete with those two schools, Ohio State, Texas, USC, Texas A&M and yes Miami. So sure, budget $75M for the 2024 class, $50M for the 2025 class, and oh yes, Deion can replicate the conditions on the ground for Jackson State and build a talent roster second to none in Colorado.

So yes, if Prime Time has $125M in NIL set aside for the next two high school classes, plus additional money put aside for transfers, he can outbid everyone and build a championship contender in two to three years.

It's 1989 SMU, but self inflicted (and granted, on a 1-11 team). May be such a set back he never gets the chance to make it work, not that I'm convinced he would have
