I agree this team still has holes especially on defense. I'm not thrilled at the offensive play calling either

Its horrible coaching. You cant put your MLB on a RB man on man and no safety help over the top. You cant play 99% man when you dont have the CBs and LBs that cant cover ****

Exactly. Duke isn't that talented. Our D coaching is beyond pathetic. Soft tackling, terrible angles, unwillingness to play to the whistle. Soft, soft, soft.

Maybe Lance should get his unit lined up correctly and play defense to compliment this offense. He’s a disaster right now. If he can’t do any better than this, then DNic or Taylor should call the defense next week.

I suspect there is some ego going on with Lance. 2/16 and you have you Mike 1 on 1 with a back 40 yards down the field? Sorry, that’s the coach not the player.

Anyone from Duke that can run can definitely catch on Kiko. That’s an issue on the player if he knows his job and can’t win his 1v1. That’s my opinion on it. This ain’t the 2000’s where Duke is trotting out lawyers out there like in the past with big *** shoulder pads. Everyone for the most part has some sort of talent now except the top tier teams like uga etc.

Exactly why coaching matters most.
 
Guidry sucks ive seen enough. 9 games in a row now we've looked like **** defending basic routes. Thank God Billy and Mike were too dull to figure it out.

People still slurping Guidry or nah? Most points Duke has score against P4, on the road with 25 minutes to spare lol get this **** outta town

man I’m not big on blaming coaches for everything and think people are too quick to fire them.

But it’s hard to look at this as it’s one of the worst coaching seasons I’ve seen on defense in a long time. Hard to justify not firing him
