Lance Guidry

With rumors swirling that Guidry could be a candidate for other D.C. jobs, CaneSport has learned that UM has rewarded Guidry for the job he did with the team’s defense in his first year with the program by reworking his contract. Guidry, who arrived at Miami after two years as Marshall’s coordinator, is receiving a three-year extension that includes a significant raise. The contract is designed to keep him at Miami for at least those next three seasons.

Miami going about this all wrong, and tbh, I thought they would do this with JT and OSU.

The tried and true method is:

- Guidry hired by LSU
- Mario retires/is fired
- Miami pays triple for Guidry to return as HC back to Coral Gables 45 mins after signing LSU contract

Huge win for the program. I definitely was concerned when I saw the LSU DC job open - then I saw Blake Baker is reportedly the top candidate and figured Mario and Guidry likely had something in the works.

No offense to BB as he’s handling his business at Mizzou and deserves the opportunity.

what's wrong with Addae? I feel great about our secondary plus he recruits great. Porter and Brown will be our next dynamic duo on the corners. If he can transition Jadais to safety next year and play well, that's another great development. Just need to make sure Patterson is a freshman stud in the making, getting as many reps as possible, need him out there.
