Ladson commits to Clemson

Canes Shades off; let’s be honest right now:

Clemson has put in some WRs in to the NFL w 1st/2nd round grades. Clemson has also put a National Championship on the board in the last couple of years, played for 2 out of 3 National Championships, and have been in the CFP for 3 straight years. Clemson has also put Watson in the NFL as a 1st round pick.

Dabo has plenty to sell right now. This will change after this year’s draft. We’ve been lean putting in 1st round, impact players, in to the NFL. Yes, the guys we’ve put in have out worked their value, but outside of TE, what Uber impactful players have we put in to the league lately?

Golden was kept here 1 yr too long. I actually stated the domino effect as to him staying here beyond 2015 in one of the many Golden threads back in the day.

After 2018, kids are going to start hearing “from Miami” in the 1st round w consistency, and then, we won’t have to try so hard to convince kids to stay home. It’s a 4-5 yr cycle. Think Butch Davis, as well, and recall when everything came together for him. We’re almost there.

Lastly, no more long losing streaks. That gives teams plenty of ammo to negatively recruit against us.

He was ballin! Certainly looked like an All American out there. Cager was doing pretty good too. Looks like he’s been hitting the weight room.

We need our younger guys to start making older guys work to keep their position. That breeds a great football team. We’re almost there. That’s y I pegged 2019 as our legitimate run at a national championship.
 
Uhhhh ****... We really need OL.. That performance today was atrocious. I love skills but **** they ain't gonna win us ****. Bring in 6 hogs if you have too.

You are clueless. It was one of the things UGA fans couldnt stand about him in the end. Way too many of the top kids in Georgia were leaving. It is a widely known complain UGA fans and BOT had.

He wasnt even remotely Saban-esque there, and certainly hasnt been here either.

You’re right.

There’ll be plenty of quality coaches we can hire at the end of the season when it’s time to start over.
 
How well were we recruiting this kid? Because it is a little disappointing that we did not get this kid.

Frierson, bandy, Shaq, Nesta, etc...are alphas.

If we bring in another WR, he better be an instant impact, otherwise take that 2nd WR scholly and find another OL. We need 5 at the minimum in this class and they need to be elite dude. Neal, Wright, Putnam, Tarquin and Eguakun needs to be our class!

Couldn't agree more. Neal and Putnam can play immediately. Not sure how ready the others are physically to contribute as a freshman. But that would be an elite haul. Best we've had easily.

sometimes the kid just wants out. He first commited to Florida then became obssesed with Clemson generating so many draft picks at WR and its clear to me that, to him, Miami was always an afterthought
 
Just go after Dunmore. He’s the one I’ve wanted anyway. Give me the WR that punks DBs.

My only concern w Ladson is Stevenson. Are they really a package or pipe dream? Some thought (myself included) that AH4 was a package deal or at least 3 of the 4. None of those ninjas are playing w each other!!

If losing Ladson means losing Stevenson, then I will be salty. But if not, the last position I care about is WR.....although on another note, I’ll be real glad when Clemson and these other mofos are out of back yard. It’s one thing for FSU and UF, but these other hicks gotta go.

I don't think they've ever said they want to go to the same school or that they are a package deal. To get ladson back we are gonna have to win mom over, she loves dabo. Stevenson either us or UF.
