You guys realize that it takes time for a coach to make a impact right? Petrino is a great coach but it's going to take time for the team to gel and for the offense to be a good patrino offense. I'd much rather play them in his very first game at Louisville then later in the season. Maybe they do torch us, but acting like it's a lock just cause patrino is there is shortsighted.

you have proven yourself to be a full fledged homer. there is absolutely ZERO objective reason to think that this team will not only win but go up there and blow them out. you got to be trolling

not attacking you buddy. it just boggles the mind how anyone could expect F.A.G./Dorito to put together any sort of decent defense after what we've seen the last 3 years.

Duke being back with a little more help in the backfield will help, but the QB situation is a huge ? that does not look good. the defense should be considered terrible until proven otherwise

They lost the QB who torched us, lost a coach who really fit that team, lost most there front 7 AND are switching to a 3-4. It's not going to be the same Louisville team we saw in the bowl game.

we lost a 2+ year starter at QB and have a terrible defense going against one of the best offensive coaches in CFB. no matter how you slice it, it doesnt look good for us

What I'm getting out of this thread is that Louisville is preparing for their season opener.

Is that unusual?

We HAD a terrible defense, we dont know how the D will preform this coming season. They lost pieces that were fundamental to the success of the program last season. The QB we need to make up for isnt nearly as talented. At best that's a wash, were both breaking in new QBs. We are bringing back our coaching staff, bringing back a majority of our players on both sides of the ball, and have SIGNIFICANTLY improved the depth of talent on the team. Continuity is important in football, and thats something we have a BIG advantage in.

But they killed us in the last game we played, and we play them in week 1. Even though we don't know what either team will look like there's no doubt we are getting killed. Forget all that stuff you are talking about....

Noooo no one has EVER mentioned that on this website?

Fvck off, if true?

didnt take long for Golden to make an impact here. our defense started free falling immediately but yeah he got it real good and ****ed up by year 2 and 3. cant wait for year 4. he will definitely get much better then

Take Teddy out of the bowl game for UL and add Duke for Miami and we have a different result. Basically what the reality will be for UL come Labor day.

Can you actually put together a coherent argument without just bashing the staff? We lost last year and we got golden so we're screwed. That's the extent of your argument smh.
