If he wants to avoid landing at a crappy program, yes.but would Nelson be willing to sit a year?

Ur like reading a car review and it says the 1st month it was great and then I had a flat and had to use the spare tire for 2 months and judging how it drove off of that lol. When TVd was healthy the O was good.We had 6 games that received a negative offensive value rating.
Mario has never had a season with less than 5.
And people are happy about this? Bruhhhh, where are the standards for this program???
I don’t know, a lot of people like Dana as an offensive mind.
It’s also funny that we point to the fact that Tune, after starting for how many years, finally was good his senior season.
We might as well give Enos credit for Brandon Allen? That was an elite offensive year.
Does he? How far back are we comparing? Because all I know is that when he was with us and after us, he's been a dumpster.Dan Enos has a better track record as OC than Dawson.
What’s your source for offensive value rating? Not doubting you. I just want to be able to reference it when debating the Mario and Dawson apologists. We had 6 games that received a negative offensive value rating.

....well geeEnos:
12 in 2015
34 in 2016
38 in 2017
42 in 2022
As mid as this is for a “best of,” Dawson doesn’t have anything close to this.
He has 2022 Houston.

Cool go mope somewhere else. #2 and # WRs in ACC. If that was lashlees u would *** like everyone else here. It wasn’t as bad as everyone thinks. The O struggled at times bc of QB playNo it wasn’t.
What if I told you he was just as good (maybe better?) his junior year?
Regardless, this isn’t a Dawson thread. We have plenty of those. This is about Ward.

This is a KJ Jefferson thread, not a Ward thread.
The argument in favor of Jefferson is what he did in the Briles offense. An offense that arguably the best offense in college football, and certainly the most QB friendly.
That’s comforting if you think Dawson is more similar to Briles than Enos.
But if anybody does think that, they are a low-IQ 9 to 5’er.
Dawson’s offense is far closer to Enos’ than it is to Briles.
Thank youBCFToys.com
They have a bunch of analytic ratings on the site.
And then it breaks down the F+ (FEI & SP composite) game ratings all the way back to 2007.
And then from game ratings you can do offensive and defensive splits.
It really helps to put into perspective how horrifically bad Mario and Dawson are as a combo.
Thank you

Unfortunately I have to agree. I think we’re going to see something a lot closer to ‘23 KJ than the iterations we saw under the Briles Veer.
Right.
With a guy like Jefferson you play fast so he doesn’t have to think.
You spread the field so he can easily recognize where to attack pre-snap and easily identify where the pressure is coming from if it’s coming.
And just let him go.
Basically, you do a complete 180 from what Mario does.
Jefferson huddling up after every play and is bunching the line of scrimmage and running into traffic to set up 3rd and Long and telling Jefferson to read through the bunched up traffic is how you turn Jefferson into what Enos did. It’s how you turn TVD into what Mario did.
