Good school in a great college town with tons of beautiful coeds, plus they're in the SEC which seems to matter to TC and apparently his father as well.
Miami is a better school in a better city with better looking women (more diverse too). ACC is better top to bottom than the SEC too, but I guess that's the only point up for debate when comparing the two schools.
I never said anything about Athens being a better city, just said it was a great college town, which it is.

Spellman and Clark Atlanta ain’t too far from gsu eitherGood school in a great college town with tons of beautiful coeds, plus they're in the SEC which seems to matter to TC and apparently his father as well.

It is. Don’t think the threat is Athens. It’s the 1 hr to 1.25 hour drive to Downtown ATL that’s the draw. Those kids can hop in the car and chase the thots at GA State or get some brains from GA Tech.
I’m not giving it the nod but Athens is in proximity to a major city.

Atlanta doesn't have anything South Florida doesn't have. There's more, and it's closer. And the beach is here. And their families are here.

I completely agree. I would have killed to have gotten an offer from UM when I was in school.
But, everyone doesn’t care for the beach. Lived in Miami since ‘92 until college and outside of the strip the water never a draw.
Now I do agree on the family part but some kids want to have enough distance from their parents so they can’t “cramp their style”.
Now if we are keeping it real there is one thing Atlanta does have over S. Fla.
That’s Big booty strippers that’ll knock the pennies out your loafers.
Also, the opportunity for men of color is a lot more prevalent in Atlanta than a S. Fla (outside of football).
I think the kid stays home and puts on but we can’t sit here and act like Athens is whack with no Big City access.
UGAy was the one place I was afraid of him liking. Only place I think could draw a city kid from s. Fla.

I don't think you've been to all of the areas of South Florida.
The only thing they have that we don't is a bunch of redneck racist fans. Tyson seems quiet and family oriented, so I'd think he'd want to stay close by. The thought of leaving your friends and family seems cool until you actually have to sign the papers.
I agree with you that I probably haven’t been to all the parts of South Florida and the racist fans. But I’m sure you’re not a African American male either. Atlanta is a big draw for black men. Point blank.
But back to the point I do agree with you on the far away part. I went to WMU my freshman year for football and was miserable. Was back in Florida at FAMU by my sophomore year.

Well just because black men would like Atlanta more than white men doesn't make a difference because we'd both like South Florida more than Atlanta. And Atlanta isn't really that close by, compared to how Miami and Ft Lauderdale are on their doorstep. Seems like a pretty easy choice no matter how nice of a "college town" Athens is and it's only 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from Atlanta in traffic.
Kirby's had the OV and the in home dinner with Tyson's family and didn't close. That's it, he's out of ammunition. Now, Tyson just has to take a test drive right up the street at Smilin' Richt's auto superstore. He's gonna hop off the treadmill and make that sale himself.

Tyson has no pictures on his twitter of his school Bama visit only UGA. There are also no pictures on his twitter of Saban visiting his house or of Kirby visiting his home. The only pictures are of the I home visit by Rumph, Diaz, Kyle and Banda....chew on that
