Kirby's about to shoot his last rope

I read as much into those photos as I do into Tyson wearing a UM wristband for his games. It's no more or less concrete a tip-off.

CaneSport reached out to Campbell’s father, Lucius, who said that Tyson continues to weigh his options and does not appear to be leaning one way or another just yet.

“Right now it’ll be a surprise to me and the rest of the family I guess,” Lucius said. “I’m proud of Tyson - he’s giving himself the opportunity to be exposed to this recruiting process and he’ll make up his mind himself, doesn’t ask for help.”

Many believe Georgia will ultimately win out here, but Campbell is visiting Tennessee this weekend and then Miami the weekend before signing day.

Asked why Tyson may be drawn to Georgia, Lucius said, “Georgia being an SEC school, they have all the nuts and bolts of an up and coming program.”

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart visited the family last night. And Alabama’s also making a big push - “Their coaches were here Wednesday and coach (Nick) Saban was here last week,” Lucius said.

Does Miami have anything in particular going for it?

“Nothing in particular but he’s met coach (Mark) Richt before and coach (Mike) Rumph and coach (Manny) Diaz and he likes them,” Lucius said. “All those guys other than coach Richt have been in the house meeting with us.”

Lucius said Richt will take an in-home this coming week in advance of the family’s UM visit.

The bottom line here?

“He’ll go where he wants to go,” Lucius said.

"Right now it’ll be a surprise to me and the rest of the family I guess."

Either Rumpelstiltskin has a much worse relationship with the Campbell's than he thinks he does, or Lucius is throwing a smoke grenade in order to re route media the other direction for a signing day surprise as Tyson picks the Canes.

Either way, I'm ****ting my pantaloons, because I, along with everyone else, have no idea what the **** is going on anymore.

LMAO if all of you dumbasses know it's over and it's been over, why TF do you come on these threads? You think any of us are like, **** that dude was right the whole time? Because the answer is no.

I come for the entertainment...
I come to laugh at the poRsters that think we are getting everyone

So you two guys enjoy when UM doesn't get recruits we need because you're more evolved and worldly than the UM fans who want and expect us to sign local guys like Campbell? It makes you feel special when UM misses out?

Well...game’s over. Hey quick question? Did anybody notice he didn’t even bother to retweet these pics let alone post them himself?

I swear some of you have absolute train wrecks for wives/girlfriends.

Most of these guys are gaping pvssies. If they ever accidentally found themselves in a fight and got hit once they'd fall down and start tapping the cement and screaming "ok!!! ok!!! I'm done!!!!".

Bama reporting says they aren’t in it for Campbell. They think it’s only Miami or Georgia for his services. Bama’s targets are Surtain, Isaac Taylor Stewart and Olijah Griffith.

My take from this article: Georgia has literally played all of their cards, and yet Tyson's father indicates right after the in-home visit, that Tyson is not leaning towards Georgia. There are 12 days left until signing day, and Georgia is completely out of bullets in the middle of a recruiting war. Meanwhile, Miami still has an M16 (Official Visit) and a mother f'ucking Rocket Launcher (Richt's in-home visit). Gotta love those odds!

His dad is saying what Tyson wants him to say in order to keep the suspense alive. His dad didn't come off all that convincing and is obviously lying with the whole "surprise" thing that he kept reiterating. I don't think he'll be surprised at all because he knows what's going on.

Notice how he gave UM the shortest of shrift. That's the tell. He made it seem like he barely knows Rumph when that's clearly not the truth.

Dad is reflecting a lot on what Rattler said too. Interesting stuff. That OV is crucial.

Rival article says to me that, Campbell is leaving the door wide open for Richt and Co. to knock that MF'er down. It is up to them to sell it like Rattler has been saying.

I have zero source into TC but you'd be trolling if you said the cards don't read Miami.

-South Florida/Local Kid. Check.
-Primary recruiter is his life long coach and mentor. Check.
-Offer very early in the process. Check.
-Re-iterate through "leaks" to media that they know TC reads that he's the number one target on their board. Check.
-Recruiting three of his teammates, all of which are either committed/going/leaning Miami. Check.
-Family would prefer him home. Check.
-No immediate need for money, making him not as susceptible to bags. Check.
-Position of need with immediate playing time available. Check.

I mean what edge does Georgia have? It's obvious they're negative recruiting richt and shoving their playoff appearance down his throat, but that's the extent of that. TC is smarter than that. You'd be foolish not to ride with Franchise on this one, it's not like it's some crazy prediction.

Dawg Post breaks down Georgia's remaining targets and where things stand today.

Tyson Campbell:

Likely Georgia's most important target remaining on their board, Campbell is an elite 5-star cornerback who could push for immediate playing time the second he gets on campus. Campbell took his official visit to Georgia the weekend of January 12, and is coming off an official visit to Alabama this past weekend. His last remaining official visit will be to Miami the weekend before Signing Day. With just under two weeks remaining, sources say the Georgia Bulldogs are the current favorite to land the five-star at this time. Kirby Smart and Mel Tucker made an in-home visit with Campbell and his family on Thursday night.

Thank you, I've been saying it all along. He's gonna do his due diligence, NOBODY'S(not Corch Fart or the Napoleon of Dixie) gonna stop that. Also, no one told me to stay off CIS. I'm a grown *** man for one, and I haven't said anything to steal Ty's thunder and never will.

I could not agree more, especially regarding the tell. I literally laughed out loud when the father said of Tyson, "...he's met coach Rumph..."
