Kevin Olson vs Brad Kaaya vs Malik Rosier

If Kayaa was an EE guy he could push Olsen. Kayaa seems very mature.

College play books are much more complex and thicker than high school play books.
Never seen a TRUE freshman qb do well.
I'm sure someone will name 1 or 2 through the ages, but that only confirms my point.
Extremely difficult transition.

Sam Bradford was solid as a true freshman qb

I thought Sam had a Rs year, then left as a Rs Jr.

He did RS in 2006...

My bad, I thought he was a true freshman.

Since it's become fashionable to talk up or talk down our QB's apropos of nothing I want everyone here to review Isaac Hoza's highlight vids because he will be the next Steve Walsh. :stormwarning:

Dream scenario is that Olsen is legit and Kaaya red shirts. Gets some spacing between them.

Nightmare scenario is Olsen goes down and we burn BK 's shirt ,or Crow starts.

The way the past three coaches have managed RS's, we'd probably be 6-5, Crow has started a few games after Olsen injury, but isn't getting it done so they burn BK'S RS. The ultimate slap in the face would be giving a returning Williams the start rather than letting him attempt to get another year of eligibility.

This is interesting as **** to be honest. Kaaya's shirt goes out the window you have to think. The great battle that was fortold a year from now will be on from day 1.

Olsen has the edge and is probably your opening day starter, but i guarantee if he sleeps Kaaya is ready to eat his cookies. Unfortunately, loser probably transfers, so this creates a depth problem as we never wanna be a twisted ankle away from Grey Crow.

In the spirit of recent popular wisdom: Olsen could not beat out Williams.

Did Grey Crow go to the bowl game? Or, did he stay home and party with Olsen? Can't remember.

Fair argument, but under the same argument, Williams could not beat out an injured Morris, so by the basis of this argument, we would be screwed regardless of who is playing. Lets hope thats not the case.

Oh, the irony.

"Grey" Crow may have been with Olsen, but Gray Crow was with the team

Still can't believe he didn't bench his senior quarterback in that meaningless bowl game.

What was Saban thinking leaving McCarron in with those 2 ints and 7 sacks?
