Kevin Olson vs Brad Kaaya vs Malik Rosier

If Kayaa was an EE guy he could push Olsen. Kayaa seems very mature.

College play books are much more complex and thicker than high school play books.
Never seen a TRUE freshman qb do well.
I'm sure someone will name 1 or 2 through the ages, but that only confirms my point.
Extremely difficult transition.

Didn't the Hackenburg kid come to Penn State in the fall?

Good point. Yeah, he only arrived in State College in June. He had a bit of a cushion to start the season and they still lost to UCF though.

He didn't exactly light the world on fire and he was one of the top, if not the top high school qb.

Not saying a freshman can't start, just saying if he does expect that freshman to struggle mightily.

Olsen looks pretty sharp throwing the football this Spring. He'll be the starter, but they will do everything they can to get Kaaya ready as well.

It's been done before..... Let's see if Olson can take off the way McGahee did when gore got hurt.

Dream scenario is that Olsen is legit and Kaaya red shirts. Gets some spacing between them.

I would like to see this happen, but Golden would need to pick up a veteran QB, perhaps from the waiver wire.
I am sure there are some out there...he probably won't be a great player, but rather have him as no.2 than Kaaya
right now.
If we don't redshirt Kaaya, we will definitely need to recruit 2 QBs for next class, as it won't be inconceivable that Kaaya
or Olsen (if he loses no.1) transfers after this season.

Yea and RG3 was good as well but that only confirms his assessment... Heck even Jacory razzled us lil bit but it's extremely rare for a true freshman to ball out at qb... Hackenberg showed great potential but he made countless errors as well... If you have a better option you play him... Like Tannerhill over Manziel and Manuel over Winston...

KAAYA is the future for MIAMI at the quarterback position ... No doubt about that ..

Is this for real? Seriously? What kind of immature uncalled for BS is that? That is very disappointing. A very unfortunate remark indeed.

Sam Bradford was solid as a true freshman qb

Not sure why everyone has already written off the possible redshirt on both rozier and kaaya. All Golden has to do is keep Olson starting and Crow has his depth chart backup. If the time comes that Olson gets hurt and he does not want Crow in, he can burn the redshirt then.

I thought Sam had a Rs year, then left as a Rs Jr.
