First I like to say Ryan
as a Cane's fan ,I hope you have a speedy recovery ...

2014 season
Who do you have your money on finishing the season
as the starter....Kevin Olson , Brad Kaaya , Malik Rosier

Plus Recruiting a top 10 2015 QB is a little more important
if Kaaya or Rosier win the 2014 starting job

Olsen because he has the experience in the playbook and has been looking good in practice.

KAAYA is the future for MIAMI at the quarterback position ... No doubt about that ..

Sucks that we won't be able to redshirt Kaaya.

Why not? I mean there is a chance now that he may not redshirt, which before the RW injury he was guaranteed to red shirt. Job will Olsen's unless Kaaya is next next level special, and there would be no reason to burn a shirt unless Olsen gets injured.

my next questions is , is all the olsen hype legit?

What hype? If anything the kid has gotten more hate than hype, excluding Valid of course. He will get the attention because he is and was, even before the RW injury, the most talented QB on campus.

Olsen wins but I sure hope kaaya comes in and pushes him and makes him take it to the next level.

If Kayaa was an EE guy he could push Olsen. Kayaa seems very mature.

College play books are much more complex and thicker than high school play books.
Never seen a TRUE freshman qb do well.
I'm sure someone will name 1 or 2 through the ages, but that only confirms my point.
Extremely difficult transition.

Didn't the Hackenburg kid come to Penn State in the fall?
