Kevin Olsen (baby Jesus)

The hair is still so glorious:

I like the kid. Who cares if he smokes a little weed.

I don't think it was pot, I think he just thought because he was highly recruited he didn't have to put work in. Golden called him out on it. It's easily correctable.

People here don't like him because he tweets his GF "too much", which is just stupid. Pete doesn't care for him due to his man crush on Kaaya.

I still have high hopes for him.

This

I don't understand why people crucify the kid for smoke a little ganja.

You really think guys like Kosar, Testaverde, Torretta never engaged in any extra curricular activities? (I exclude Dorsey because he is a saint).

I believe Frank Costa actually majored in extracurricular activities.

Olsen is a making a push, in like Williams but would love to see Olsen win the job.

Just read Goldens comments....leadership is needed more now then ever...Williams has that..he can move the chains keep Duke healthy by reading defenses etc.....the offense might be boring this year but I see balance with about 2500 passing 2500 on the ground....we do this we win 12 games

It seems like everyone on here has written off kevin Olsen and is hoping for kayaa to start over him. Just wondering what has happened in the past year that has changed him from baby Jesus to not being cared about?

Don't worry if Torrance Gibson commits than Gibson will be the QB to lead Miami and Kayaa will be a nobody...lol

I am roasting marshmallows by this campfire.

I watched him Thursday for an hour. He is very capable of winning games for us. Some on here are not used to red shirts etc. Its how you build a champion. Kaaya has to sit

i agree. i would RS Kaaya unless he came in and proved from day 1 he was the better QB then either of the other 2.

Either way

1. Williams
2. Olsen
3. Crow

Kaaya - RS

Do you really think Crow will be here in September? Maybe pencil in #16, G. Lassitter, as number 3.

Man, it wasn't that long ago that people were pining for the backup to start, like Kirby Freeman over Kyle Wright.

Now, people are pining for someone that's still in frickin' high school.

Thanks, Larry-Randy-Al-Donna.

High school senior Kyle Wright may have been better than college senior Kyle Wrong.

The thing I worry about is leadership was what Golden liked about Morris. I want a QB who does not look like a deer in headlights when a blitz is coming at him. I like Williams but if Olsen can win the games, let him follow Duke around for all I care. I think kid is somewhat of a slow starter. He started slow at the Ellite 11 and then closed strong and got into the final 11. That might be what we are seeing here. Some people need to absorb everything before they lite the fuse. I like our QB situation for next year. I do question staff's ability to handle it effectively--by which I mean win the friggin games.

I don't think getting Wimbush is a good idea.... Short, big arm, bombs the ball down the field..... reminds you of someone well all know too well. (Morris)

90% of Morris' problems were not his style of play. It was upstairs mostly with him and his mechanics. He didn't want to take hits & frankly just seemed like he was going through the motions!

This Olsen thing by us fans is really funny. While we are talking about this. Olsen is slowing surpassing RW in practices. Olsen is starting to expose RW'S noodle arm. He's hitting a lot of passes that RW can't. This aint over. By fall practice Olsen will be the starter. RW can't hit the deep routes. Attend some of the practices guys there free.

Time to change your name to The Apostle Paul, because you are spreading The Good Word.

The only thing I really want out of Olsen this is to give the coaching staff enough confidence as a #2 that they can RS Kaaya to not **** away a year of eligibility for Kaaya.

As Gamineal stated, I expect a very balanced offense this year- which is exactly what we need. Williams fits this mold perfectly.

the diff between olson and everyonelse that u mentioned is those guys didnt have social media to be a moron

I really hope this is true. God forbid Williams goes down for any reason, we should hope Kevin is ready to step right in and be efficient.

With the rest of the talent we have on offense...we don't need someone who's a super-explosive QB, either with their legs or arm. We need two things: efficiency and consistency. We get that, our O will be **** tough to stop (presuming Simple #Dale doesn't fall in love with plays that don't work again).

Olsen wasn't being a moron none of you have ever got drunk and drove none of you have a girl who you love none of you ever hit some weed get real he's a 18 year old freshman
