Ken dorsey

Don’t see the Dorsey being the QB coach here panning out no time soon. With the season Dawson just had stripping that responsibility from him for whoever would be a slap in the face and just doesn’t make much sense.

And after the Josh Gattis experiment, having a separation between the QB coach and play caller just doesn’t seem like the direction we want to go in.
You don't strip him you add a qualified guy to help him. Being serious as a program sometimes requires you to make decisions like these.

With all due respect, you cannot be serious with the whole "Well Gattis/Ponce didn't work out therefore that means we can never hire a QB coach in addition to the OC" That logic is demonstrably false as there have been and are many different instances that refute it.

As a DC he might be 🔥. He knows how to keep points off the board.

At least as QB coach. Yes.
lol. His claim to fame is the #1 pick in cam who dominated cfb got slightly better as a passer. And the 7th overall pick in Allen who has openly said he works with Carson Palmer lil brother in the off seasons and credits him for helping him develop. So what has he really done as qb coach?

I don’t want Dorsey as a coach and don’t particularly think he’s that great of one. But they forced him to play garbage Deshaun Watson and when Watson was hurt he was forced to play guys who don’t belong on a pro roster. Not his fault. He’s the scapegoat this time.

Totally agree.
Unfortunately, I think once a coach has been fired more than once, they enter the Scapegoat Zone and they become easily fireable for any future HC who is not doing well (ok, this is my theory).

got torched in here 2 years ago saying to not go after dorsey - just because NFL teams want people doesn't mean they are good

failed twice - yes there are QB issues in Cleveland, but several teams have qb problems and he coordinated a hilariously inept offense that finished last in scoring with good WR's an average line, a pro bowl TE, and a good RB group.

come back as an analyst? sure, but anything other than that? **** no

Let him HC a high school football team and build his resume, proving he can do it. He couldn’t translate a clipboard into a laptop, he destroyed it when the analytics on it didn’t produce a TD with the Bills. He’ll also have to learn to control his temper.

I mean it's the Browns... Can't take that seriously. Either way it's good for Dorsey he's getting experience. Not a lot of people just go into things the best at it. Takes time. He keeps working and learning and growing I'm sure he will be fine.
