we sure didn't, but he won the broyles for one and he has play calling experience so I don't know what you wanted really. No one but inner coaching circles could have known he's not very good. That's on mario 1000000000000000% for not getting the behind the scenes on it. It's just another disaster in a long run of disasters that continues to haunt this program. Enos was seen as a grand slam hire by tons of people for example.

Film room Savant isn't the word...that's all KD did. If he wasn't playing Video games with his GF...He was watching Game-Film at Hecht.

Winning the Broyles means nothing, and to be perfectly honest, Harbaugh should have been the recipient. Shannon Won the Broyles...that's all you need to know. Those Awards, just like the Heisman, are meaningless in the Grand Scheme of things.

Nobody is saying that.

People are criticizing the ignorant porsters who argued against hiring any UM alums and/or a guy who hadn't yet had a full "OC" title.

The reality is that Ken Dorsey is a **** good coach. Full stop.

I wish some of the players now had that mentality. But they don’t and we bash them, then idiots here call us fake fans because we criticize players for their work ethic and all the crap they do on game day aka drop passes, commit dumb penalties, miss tackles.

dorsey is indeed an excellent coach.

there's plenty of retardedness on CIS, but the ones last winter about Dorsey's qualifications as an OC are premium class drivel.

When hiring former players, it's imperative you hire the right ones. I feel like now that he's got a handle on things in the NFL, he's ready for ACC defenses + MTSU.

What’s funny is watching film back then was harder ken didn’t have an iPhone iPad or laptop that he could watch film on. Heck the phone I’m using to type this is far more advanced than what they had available

I disagree with your first sentence. I think UM was his play if the Bills didn’t offer him the OC this year. If Daboll didn’t leave for a HC position, we’d have Dorsey this year.

Thats doooope, He has history with them, Bills offense is hot, known as QB whisperer, offensive coach which most teams in playoffs are led by, hmm what else..

Hope he interviews well and doesn't get the job. He needs more than 1 yr as an OC. Let things settle out, figure out what he likes and doesn't like about the HC situation in Buffalo.

He learned to be a great OC by building his own book and now you see the result.

I'd love to see him take over in SF after the current coach leaves there one way or another. They have a talented team and will for some time.
Other good spots would be NO possibly and AZ after Flores ***** that up.

Richt should have hired him when he came on with Diaz as DC. Kaaya doesn’t leave early & things are different.
 
If Carolina does hire him (I could actually see Tepper doing it) then they should absolutely go after Derek Carr too. I think Kenny could turn him into a more consistent QB that hovers right around bottom half of a top 10 list for that position.

Kenny needs to be careful that he goes to the right situation though too. He's in a good spot right now in that he can ride Josh Allen for a while and that will assuredly mean more interviews.
