Which staff? Lol in reality a few guys on this board have several different connections to both ends. But I agree I wouldn't post anything related directly to the University.

Yeah, prove that one. I used to live next to a former wast s and c coach at UM and used to ask him all the time and he'd tell me stuff. If u think recruits and commits are only talked about w in Hecht...

Agreed... Info comes from all kinds of places but in these times we live in I sure wouldn't go quoting nobody... Too many Lurkers anymore

Back about the 2nd week of December I got a message from a buddy who knows people at UM. The staff fully expects KB to sign with UM along #6. This guy has been correct on everything over the last two years minus 1 instances involving a guy where the situation changed abruptly. Knew about Sandland & AQM well in advance. I'm trying to get him on this board from CS. You're closer than u think

Eh I deleted it...not taking any chances. SWDP12 delete that quote if u would. Come to think of it...he never actually mentioned their names. He just said an OL and a DB. I guessed the names and he said something along the lines of I like where your heads at.

Coley is just a different case and Williams is an OOSer so I'm with you. At risk of negging it was probably over a year ago when Bakas and another Scout guy were talking about Coley being odd as far as recruiting goes. Felt he would be a tough one to read and thought it would drag out last NSD. You can even see it in the way he plays. Just a "when I feel like it" kind of guy.

I would agree with 5x and have felt that way for a while. Could be wrong, but Golden is an elite recruiter with an assassin mentality when it comes to this stuff. He's putting together that Jan 18th list by design. It also wouldn't surprise me to see Whitfield not come as a last minute decision.

Golden is going to unspeakable things to the CFB world the day his hands aren't tied anymore. It's remarkable what he's doing now.

He's not a Nole yet! I don't get too heavy in either direction until they sign. Too much flipping these days. You never know. Also this kid hasn't been at all disrespectful to UM during the process and I understand his track considerations. If he comes on a visit it means the staff wants him and thinks they can bring him back. I view that as positive.
