I spoke to his mother yesterday and she said "we hope he picks miami". Sounds like legit interest in ND. The kid is the best lineman I've seen down here since Sam Young. So far ahead of everyone in terms of technique and plays with an attitude. I hope he's a cane.

His interest in ND is huge and genuine. He has not told his parents or his friends where he is going, which is a bad sign.

However, my own personal opinion is that between Shane and his parents, who both want him here and make no bones about that, he will pick us. My fear is, if it was such a done deal, he would have commited already.

I still feel that if it was ND he would've waited longer

for the reasons i mentioned, i don't think he is picking ND this early. wouldn't have waited this long? its spring of his jr year. when would he have done it? NSD is just over a month past. If he were waiting till NSD, i'd be worried.

do you have any common sense? Why would he have to commit already when he hasnt finished seeing everything he wants to from both schools. Its March 25th 2013, signing day is 11 months away and he is about to commit. He has handled the process the way he has should. You are looking to deep into, he could not just want anyone to know where he is going before he decides, he has the right to tell anyone anything he wants.

You have no sense of logic, he wants to end his recruitment heading into his senior season and whatever decision he makes will be final. I think we he will be a cane but not for the reasons you have stated

yeah, i make no logic. the kid seems to be around the UM program and his brother and the team an awful lot. he seems to like the players enough to want to hang around a lot.
commit now to ND and he pretty much ends his ties at UM long before he needs to. he could wait till NSD and not have the local pressure and family pressure for the next 11 months. he could wait and get his teammates exposure.
or, he can commit now to UM and continue hanging around his brother and his brothers teammates and the UM program, which he seems to enjoy doing.
for exactly the logic i pointed out, the timing of this clearly points to UM.
like i said, if it were a NSD decision, i'd give ND a 10% shot.

Who cares about inside info, y'all are so gullible to feel better because a poster says he's going be a Cane.

I imagine an early commitment has to favor us.

KC has been around our program for the last several years.

Based on his Rivals interview I don't think he has had a chance to bond with Kelly at ND.

Yep as 5X stated in an early post the logic should be Miami. Now I do believe ND is a threat but still feel Miami is where he ends up.

Better than Flowers?

Or do you just mean technique wise vs. prospect level? Linder was great also, in that sense.

Just noticing now that 2014 OL Kc McDermott used the past tense talking about his recruiting process. Seems like he already knows.
