He will be making his announcement next Monday or Tuesday. He will be a EE so once he makes his decision its final and he will not take any visits. He said he will visit ND this week and then he will be on Miami campus to watch spring practice. This kid is really handling recruiting well. He mentions how he doesn't get caught up in what coaches say for example for Cristobal when at Miami was telling him how great Miami is, and then one week later was saying how great Alabama is.

Really hope he becomes a cane but if not he handled the process well and wish he the best of luck. Seems like a bright young man with an even brighter future hopefully its at the U.

I think he will be a Cane. Didn't he already want to commit to us a month or two ago?
 
Guys listen. There is NO way this kid is committing to ND this early. This kid is at UM and around the program often. If he committed to ND now, he basically would put an end to his involvement to hanging around UM players and the program. Can u imagine him committing to ND and then just hanging around UM practices and Hecht? He's not gonna do that this early. If he was waiting till NSD, I might think ND had a small chance. Deciding this early? Not a chance it's not UM, for so many obvious reasons.

I'm so comfortable with this I'm not going to worry anymore. Two five star players committed before April. Love that.

What he said about Cristobal is why Golden didn't have Coley recruit 2013 kids when he came here right before signing day.


Golden get it. Hopefully, KC does too.
 
I spoke to his mother yesterday and she said "we hope he picks miami". Sounds like legit interest in ND. The kid is the best lineman I've seen down here since Sam Young. So far ahead of everyone in terms of technique and plays with an attitude. I hope he's a cane.

Ehh..............sounds like mom doesn't wanna spoil the kid's moment.
 
I think the great thing about this class of early commits is that these kids look like they are gonna stand by their word and not waver. I dont know about you but when Alex Collins committed so early that reeked of a kid that would get caught up in the hype once the word got out about him. Same with Jayron Kearse. Thats why I am SO glad Lammons didnt commit early this year. Now that he has blown up all of a sudden he wants to look around..When b4 he was saying that he was really close to committing to us. Kids like this can save us alot of heartache if they just enjoy the process and not tip their hand to any team.

Kids like Yearby, Darling, Linder, hopefully KC and maybe Sony are gonna be here thick and thin. And they are all great players. Lets hope KC joins the fam come next week.
