so they're gonna stick Chad at the same spot as Chick, get him nice and fat and out of position too i see.

Would love to see Chick playing at around 265, feel like at that weight he might get some more explosive plays out of him.

He played at that weight last year and really stunk... He does not have enough speed! He can't go lighter, so he needs to go up to be effective...

Agree. Playing inside is not his strength. The kid was a 220+ pound outside rush technician in HS. Outside guys don't all need to be 4.4 4-3 DEs or 280-290 pound hold-the-edge 3-4 DEs. Look at Rusty Medearis - light, slow but very effective on the outside rush.

Even though I haven't seen them on the field yet, I'd think our two new JuCos are our best/most effective DTs on the roster right now. How I'd rank them:

Wyche
Big Heurt
Pierre
Kamalu

It's very odd. The Canesport crew seems to think that Heurt looked pretty awful in the spring, but some of the posters here thought he looked good in the spring game. Not sure anyone knows what we really have with him, yet, but I'm not expecting a ton.

Yeah Im not sure Huert is going to be lighting the world on fire. Have heard mixed things so far. Def has potential though. I think Pierre and Kamalu are going to have better years than Huert. I expect those guys to look good this year. Also saying that Jenkins is at NT with the first team right now.
