I an era of spread set, speed option read systems, fast LB's you would think would be a priority. Even Bama struggles mightily with spread set teams. Why on football earth would this idiot coach not be after a speed LB'er like this kid? This idiot's whole philosophy about all things college football is just dumb and dumber! Watch how fast the next coach brings us back! Other coaches must find our Idiot coach hilarious when he is in the best talent area for college football talent.

According to Josh Darrow, he's visiting TCU this weekend. He fits like a glove in that defense. They play like Canes.

Unreal ******* real that a kid like this doesn't have an offer, but Berry and the kid from Jersey (Brightwell??) do. That's absolutely mind boggling.

Makes me sick he doesn't have an offer. You cannot teach that speed or twitch. Not the type of player who "lets the play come to him" like this staff likes. Sad.

Funny thing is that 2015 LB Mohamed Barry is visiting Miami this weekend and he is the same size roughly as Talen yet Barry has on offer an Talen doesn't.

Go Canes

I've been telling him that TCU is a great fit for him since day one.

He's a hybrid player and they'll utilize his talents properly.

Then good luck to the kid. If I were him, I would go there. Another potential miss by this staff. Smh.

Wait so this kid, who is so good, is being missed by FSU, UF MIA and all the SEC (ARKY don't count)... Something smells wrong...!

I don't think hes a miss by the staff I don't see anything special.... hes a little on the small side I didn't see him take on or shed any blocks plus the video looks speeded up.. but the kid could definitely play tho but I think you guys are going a little overboard with it.

You're literally the only person I've heard/seen say that his tape is nothing special.

He plays at a different speed than everybody else on the field. He's every bit of 6'1" 200lbs but hits like he's 220+. He doesn't have the "take on or shed" any blocks because nobody can touch him. Go watch his Sophomore and Junior film buddy.

Happens all the time.

He's a kid who played at a "under the radar" high school from 9th to 11th grade. He's never been to any camps except Miami. He's not highly ranked. The FSU's and UF's don't normally recruit kids like that. There's plenty of FLA kids going to the NFL that the Big-3 ignored.

FWIW...

TCU loves him and they'd beat the **** out of every school in Florida.

You guys always let this "Big-3" crap help sway your judgement on a recruit. Those schools miss plenty of kids. Talan is the kind of kid that FSU/UF miss on but Miami signs and sends to the NFL. Your stereotypical backyard stud.
