OK so Al Golden isn't god. Ah well. Everyone back to their homes.
Not blaming him for the weather, just the poor planning...
Very astute observation by you in blaming Al Golden for weather. I guess we've reached the limit on things to blame on Seantrel Henderson...wait D$ change the thread title to,"Seantrel misses another scrimmage"!For a coach that portrays planning and preparation, having a practice or scrimmage in the afternoons in South Florida is just flat out dumb...
Practicing in a non air conditioned steel box in August sounds like a fun time.
They can be air conditioned, or you can go with an open building like this:

Thank you bbcane! Is it not that obvious that he wants the kids to get up early, have a normal day, have lunch, and prepare for it like it was a 'real' game? Are you guys kidding me? We play in the rain, we play in the heat, we need to practice in the same environment. Unfortunately this rain also had lightning and forced us to cancel the rest of the scrimmage. But to try to come down on AG is just mind numbing!!! SMH

Not to mention, in a real game scenario, we would have gone inside and waited for the storm to pass. They could have done it today, but they had CanesFest and they weren't going to cancel the event just to get more reps in at the scrimmage.
Indoor practice facilities... you gotta love this board
The whole point of this scrimmage was to duplicate a game day situation, not get practice reps. Waking up, meal, game day ready, then game. You don't duplicate that at 6am. If we didn't have Canesfest right after, this isn't even being talked about right now.
