Just heard the scrimmage is canceled

For a coach that portrays planning and preparation, having a practice or scrimmage in the afternoons in South Florida is just flat out dumb...

Didn't it have something to do with Canesfest?

Wasn't the 1st scrimmage in AM?

Yeah, because we play no games in the afternoon in So. fla.

Seriously when is the last time we overcame bad weather?

Was it the Sean Taylor game in Tally?

/I know this has nothing do with scrimmage so save it.

How do we not have an indoor practice facility? It doesn't need to be "state of the art," just something to protect from lightning. ****, you could build a cheap one for next to nothing. It's basically just a big shed.

Practices are limited by the NCAA, so it's not acceptable to be missing important scrimmages due to lightning.

Can't they just move into the indoor facility?

Basketball gym?

No, our awesome, state of the art, practice facility.

Agree 100%

Since almost everybody on this site canceled their 100$ subscriptions to grassy all the money should now be funneled over to a donation that goes towards building an indoor facility.

I saw Susan Miller-Degnan post on twitter that before it was called off, Golden said that Duke & Mike James each had a TD. And Kelvin got a sack for a safety.

If all they need is shelter from lightning, it's really not expensive. Go look at the steel buildings they have on farms. They could throw one of those up in a month and with a couple hundred grand.

That's why it's annoying to see practices canceled due to lightning after all these years.

Now, it wouldn't be air conditioned, and it would be spartan as ****.

UCF has one. Believe it is A/C'd, though.

Not blaming him for the weather, just the poor planning...

Very astute observation by you in blaming Al Golden for weather. I guess we've reached the limit on things to blame on Seantrel Henderson...wait D$ change the thread title to,"Seantrel misses another scrimmage"!

Johnson's TD was particularly inpressive as he broke a tackle and ran approximately 80 yards.

While there were strong plays on defense, including forcing a fumble, Stephen Morris and Ryan Williams looked sharp in the approximately 5 series run for each unit. Morris led a scoring drive the first time his group touched the ball.

Please be on the next raising canes, please be on the next raising canes, please be.....

You can put air conditioning and all that in there, it'd just be extra. I've seen steel buildings with AC, it's just a lot of space to cool.

Point is they could easily buy some cheap *** land and throw up a steel building for under a million... which for UM is nothing.

On this site, I found 10 acres in Miami for $300,000.
