This isn't Golden, who pressured kids to commit. Just recruit and build relationships.

Exactly. A rushed commitment was nice in the short term, and got the shallow slopeheaded retards to stop bītchīng, but they were as thin as tissue paper. Golden was the king of decommitments, in no small part due to these pressured commitments.

They're always going to be a couple of thin skinned, effeminate posters that will whine like little girls because they didn't get a commitment today. Getting a solid commitment is much more important - now or later, as long as its solid.

Nothing wrong if we don't get commitments today. They're coming according to anybody tuned in (Pete, Ivins, Nightmare guy). Expecting more than one commitment today was foolish by the board anyways. Kids want their own personal shine.

What's with you guys and all this hyperbole? No one in here is freaking out. It would just be a little (seriously, not that much) disappointing considering a lot of people, including Pete, were talking about a strong chance for a couple commitments. If people are going to start a big hype train, then also be prepared for people to be a bit disappointed if it doesn't happen.

Personally, I knew any talk of 4 commits was a reach, but I don't think expecting 1, maybe even 2 is really very unrealistic when we came into the weekend with several guys already being on the verge of committing.

It's not a big deal, but that's just how it works when people set up expectations like that.

Haha true, but he definitely wasn't the only one. No one is even freaking out. A couple people made small comments about it, and right on cue all the CIS tough guys come in to circlejerk about how soft-shouldered everyone else is.

But again, this is what happens when you guys gas us all up. Podcasts about dominoes falling. Eluding to multiple commits. "Insiders" on here talking about it going down. It's a fine line. Personally, I like all of that, even if it's just rumor. I fee like that's what a message board is for, but I can see how it will up expectations and hype. If **** don't break the way it's hyped to, people will get upset. How it goes.

I met Cain and his father at the FSU game at the recruits gate. They came all the way from TX on their own dime. They are VERY serious about Miami. Very good kid and he's humble.

Same thing happened last year. We ended up getting commits within following days. If I recall Frierson committed within 24 hours.
