Junior Day Updates

Nothing wrong if we don't get commitments today. They're coming according to anybody tuned in (Pete, Ivins, Nightmare guy). Expecting more than one commitment today was foolish by the board anyways. Kids want their own personal shine.

Aside from the OL from Orlando (which won't happen now given his huge crush on the Gaytor) and Briggs, the kid i was most interested in hearing about is Asante Samuel. Instead of waiting around for Campbell, i'd like to see us lock Samuel down to go with Ivey and Blades at CB and Jobe, Hall, and Frierson at safety. With a 7th DB reserved for Campbell if he decides to go with us. I think that should be the recruiting strategy for our DB class.

Here comes the mopes with that, oh it's disappointing if no one commits today bullsh*t.., stfu and let the staff work without you whining like some **** lil b*tches

Lol chill with the fake bravado man. It's still early in the day, but I think most here would agree it would be at least somewhat disappointing if no one commits after all the hype around this weekend. We'll see

Hahaa for real...

Mark Pope texted Ivins that he "loved" the visit. Not expecting a commitment today.

Cameron Jonas still lists Miami as #1 , is looking to end the process soon.

Gurvan Hall was given the red carpet treatment today, him and Amari Carter hung out all day and there Mom's hung out as well. Mom loved the visit as well, Mom might actually still be on campus. Wants to visit FSU and Georgia before committing, but Miami in a really good spot.

Cam Davis told Ivins he is not afraid to play with Lorenzo and that he, his mom, and his grandma all really enjoyed the visit. Also that Thomas Brown has made him a priority.

Miami close to offering Chris Curry, they told him that they just need to see a little more. He is not upset about it, visiting Ohio State soon.

Any of these guys could wish Marky Mark a Happy Birthday with a commit? They already showed up empty handed, at least come through for the guy.

This. I'd have a couple guys I'd be recruiting as backups in case Jobe or someone else bails, but those 6 in the bag and focus on Campbell is how I'd roll too. Even if you only land 5 of those 7 and have to bring in another as a six, that's a great DB hull.

I don't know why people are upset Pope did not commit today, he has consistently said it was going to be at the end of spring/summer, and only if he was 100% sure.

Lol I don't understand why people are getting mad about people not committing most of our targets have said they will decide during the summer

I'm just glad things are looking better for jobe. Out of all the dbs we are recruiting I think hall and jobe are the most talented[TWEET]833031957156134913[/TWEET]

Yep. Here's a tidbit for everyone sweatin WRs.

Stop. Don't. There is no need to worry about WRs at Miami. We will always find guys that can catch and run fast here. There are literally a dozen Miami caliber WRs on our board and any one of those guys could end up to be better than the top guy on the board.

Williams
Pope
Wiggins
Hightower
Austin
Grammage
Schwerner
Watt
E Moore
J Moore
Copeland
Jatavious Harris

I'm only listing the known ones. There are probably another 10 that the coaches know about that we don't.

So we will get out fair share. Everyone panicked like crazy last year after losing out on Jeudy and Holloman and Devonta Smith, and we ended up with Thomas, Mike Farley, DJ, and Njoku.

So relax peeps.
