Has he been on campus a million times? I don't think so. Actually, I can't remember the last time he was on campus. Let's not act like he's hanging around campus all the time like Jobe, Frierson and Ivey. As far as it's been reported, the last time he "visited" was the Spring Game in Boca for like 5 seconds. Seems like he's made more of an effort to spend time with tOSU coaches than with Miami. Now, if he does follow through and visit with his parents, that would be a good sign, but I won't be surprised if something else interferes with those plans again.

I don't recall many reports at all of him visiting.
It's not that he went to the fiu thig it's that there was an event going on at UM and he chose the other instead.
Does it mean anything? Who knows...maybe not...but it not something that should be dismissed either.

To be fair, the event was over, but he still could have come to Miami instead of going to FIU. I wonder if his parents went to the camp with him.

I'm with you. I think it's pretty clear that tOSU leads.

I'm not ready to say leading (because unless the kid says it who really knows) but I'm willing to say they are very serious competition.

For all those getting weak in the knees over recruiting already and we are just in June...Paradise Camp is our premier event during the summer and where the Pastor begins to seal the deal on recruits that are on the fence. If Campbell doesn't come to Paradise Camp...then I would start to worry just a little bit. Until then, relax.

Shouldn't Rumph already be REALLY involved? If Rumph really is the mentor and 2nd father figure to this kid like people have said then, it sure feels like this kid and his parents are slapping him right across the face. Supposedly, Rumph has been coaching this kid since Optimist. Seems to me like they're disrespecting the guy who molded this kid into the elite CB that he is.

Exactly. The kid knows his cousin is a die hard Cane. He could be telling him exactly what he wants to hear because he's afraid to disappoint him. Sure as heck wouldn't be the first time a recruit has done that.

Again, you have to look at a kid's actions. What has he done to this point to make anyone believe he's a Cane lean.

I'm gonna say this one time and one time only, Ty knows he doesn't have to lie to me about where he wants to go to college. Yeah he knows I love the U but he knows I love my family much more. I'd be hurt if he doesn't come but I'd get over it eventually and he knows I'm not harboring any grudges whatsoever. TBH, I'm more happy that he's an excellent young man over anything he does on the field. He knows I'm gonna support him wherever he goes. If I were the typical overbearing family member then I could see the reason to lie to me but that's not the case. That creates an environment that is conducive for him lying to me. Until I hear that OSU leads from him, his parents or sisters, I'm not gonna worry.

I don't get your reasoning of "once Rumph gets more involved" the ****. He should be all over Campbell RIGHT NOW and this should honestly be the easiest recruitment for Rumph to bring Campbell in and it will say a lot if Campbell chooses somewhere else over Rumph.

I agree; but word is Banda is the lead recruit right now. I believe this will change soon. Bands should've never been lead in the 1st place; but that's a whole 'notha topic in itself.

Some of you need to relax it's only June these kids still have one more year of high school football. I'm sure by signing day the board will look a little different.This staff is recruiting elite players because they are elite other programs are going to go after them until they're signed. Kids are going to visit other schools and when possible their parents should be there. Just because they talk to a coach or visit a school doesn't mean he's done with us. Let it play out I'm confident this class will be special come signing day.

At a minimum, he does go straight to the worst possible outcome in multiple threads. It feels like trolling but I saw the donation slip so I dropped the Gayturd/Semenhole troll thing and figured maybe he's a Cane who's just a little neurotic???

If Miami had done that to a kid down here, we'd be blackballed. Just wondering why it seems like Urban gets a pass. Could be as simple as sayin that winning cures all.
