I think BBQ in Miami is mid personally, but best I’ve had is way out there…SW 152nd, Smoke and Dough. Blows Shorty’s out of the water, not even comparable. Worth the drive.

Just some of the items we got last time. It has a bit of a Cuban element for some items but mostly traditional BBQ.

I was a Pig Floyd fan til they got shut down by that stupid zoning issue....Gotta check out Shivers.
yeah, they had a good thing going. talked with Zo there a bunch and it was obvious he was waiting for the the stars to align to return to miami permanently. i went the day it opened and left with $250 in food. twas the middle of the fraud called covid.

it wasn't only a zoning issue, it was an issue between partners (public knowledge)(buoniconti)

Yeah I'm well aware of the issues. I live right by there and a close friend of ours was actually helping them try to fight that fight legally. I was there every Friday night. Was one of my favorite spots and every time we drive by it I get a little ticked off. As a former CCHS guy I was rooting for them even a little harder.

You want world class Bar B Q? Next time you are anywhere near Dallas head over to Pecan Lodge. For my money...that's the best Bar B Q I've ever had. The line is around the block almost every day but it's well worth it.

I grew up on that side of town and now it's hard to muster up the motivation to fight that west side traffic. My parents still live out there and I dread having to drive out there to go see them. I'll definitely check this place out too....pic looks great.

We all chased those back in the day....was pretty much our target audience. Brother Kevin....or as I like to refer to him......the professional fund raiser.

I've been to Jax a couple times but never tried any Bar B Q spots there. North Carolina has some fantastic bar b q spots too.
