Judd Anderson over CJ Bailey?

I love that bold confidence when you have so much current game film of Judd to look at to compare - great analysis
One guy is literally starting at a P4 program. The other is a fourth stringer with no chance of seeing the field for at least two more years.

If some emergency happened and we had to rely on Poff or Emory to start. We’d have a significant drop off but our offense could still function. With Judd, we’d look like FSU.

1600 yards, 11 TD 4 INT and 82 yards rushing.

Not saying he is bad, but I don't get the "lighting it up" comment.
Yeah but you're missing 3 VERY important things that are the very foundation of the hype.

1.) He's from South Florida

2.) He actually has stats on his stat sheet. Any production from a football player that plays in FBS and came from S Fla should've been a Hurricane.

3.) sOuTh FlOrIdA 3 StArS aRe 5 sTaRs EvErYwHeRe ElSe

Good job we're not in a situation where a True Freshman QB has to start games then, huh?

We signed Cal Ward, the Heisman front runner, in the portal and Smith still went to OSU.

It's pretty evident he wasn't coming here regardless of what we did.
I hate when yall type out stupid **** and think yall made a valid point. Jeremiah signed in December. Cam Ward committed well after signing day. Cal Ward is just as confused as me trying to decipher this.

We’re a whole season removed from having to do that. NCState wasn’t planning on it either

I understand that these posts are annoying, but I do love to live in the past.

Can someone smarter than me please explain why Miami didn't pursue CJ Bailey until late in the process? I get that the throwing motion was weird and he didn't fit the traditional mold. But he threw for 9,000 yards at one of the best high school programs in the country and now is lighting it up for a bad NC State team.

I've got no idea what Judd Anderson may or may not become down the road, but he certainly was a bit of a "project". Just feels odd that Miami didn't try to keep the best quarterback in South Florida home until it was already too late.
FWIW I'm in year 5 of my CFB dynasty on the video game and Judd is now a 99 and made Emory transfer.

CJ still has a long way to go. You guys remember that Thursday or Friday night game vs Georgia Tech? It was close to the end of the season and Bailey was terrible in that game. KC Concepcion didn't have a good season cause of CJ at the QB. Now with that said CJ is better then anybody in our QB room right now. Would be the perfect QB2 for next year. Maybe QB1
