Judd Anderson over CJ Bailey?

Judd is a better QB.

Its pretty simple, they were looking for a project and judd has the higher upside. Judd had a private work out with them and he must have really impressed them because they kinda locked it down after.

My thinking was just get cj because i don’t think either qb will be the answer here but at least one can help with your top target. I don’t think we will be too hurt by it in the long run even if judd isn't good.

Cause they know Judd will possibly be a project and they want someone better than CJ in the portal. We big game hunting, they not trying to have CJ here never play him cause of talent in front of him and ruin a HS staff relationship.

No coach in CFB thinks to themselves when evaluating players “I better not recruit this kid because he’s a project and if he doesn’t play here it will **** of the HS head coach and ruin our relationship with the school”

They thought Judd in year 3 or 4 will be better than CJ. That’s it.

Didn’t Judd have more ints than tds in one of his years starting in HS? Maaaaaaaan nevermind. I remember I promised myself I'll leave buddy alone.

But yeah, Bailey was and still is the better QB. I just remember he had a weird throwing motion in HS. Watching some film tho, it doesn't seem to be an issue.

We didn't sign Jeremiah. It already hurt in the long run.

1600 yards, 11 TD 4 INT and 82 yards rushing.

Not saying he is bad, but I don't get the "lighting it up" comment.

Context is important- as a true freshmen, who was not expected to start right away, he’s kinda lighting it up. That’s a solid stat line. As a comparison, for more context, just take a look at Emory’s numbers last year as they were both 2 QBs in a similar position.

If CJ ever wants to come home...go develop into a R1 QB and then pay him what he wants. Gladly welcome him back and his bank account will as well.

No.

But….the staff liked Judd’s upside. I think CJ was actually hurt by playing with Smith and Trader. The knock on him was that he was just a goofy passer who got bailed out by two elite receivers and an overall elite team around him. Turns out he’s actually pretty decent and was way more ready to contribute than Judd. For the record, I was really against ignoring a local project quarterback to chase an out of town, bigger project quarterback but I’m not Shannon Dawson. At this point, it is what it is. Not going to get too upset about it but this staff needs to prove it can hit on someone at quarterback.
I love that bold confidence when you have so much current game film of Judd to look at to compare - great analysis

Its called merging. And since you found it why not post in there or actually read it
