You should be able to post objectively in peace and not be subject to the partisan vigilantes on each side. Smh
Some people by nature are consumed with conflict.... Look at most issues you see dominating the headlines ( Not just here but overall around the world) and ask yourself is the subject matter really the focus or the thrill of the conflict it creates amongst those "discussing" it??...
For myself once I see a discussion going sideways I just stop because adding anything else at that point just fuels the fire....

I’d have Young at Flanker & Harrell at Field, with Kirk as the first in behind Young.

But in Dawson’s Offense at HTown, he had 4 WR’s with over 450yds & 40+ targets a piece last season.

So between Harrell, Kirk, Young & the trio at Slot, plus the TE’s, there will be plenty of options & variations for WR groupings.

Plus you can move Harrell around to all 3 spots.

This.

IMO Dawson is gonna having TVD throw the ball quite a bit. I wouldn’t get too hung up on starters, we know Restrepo is going to get a ton of targets, and we’re fairly confident Young will get a lot of snaps and should command targets. But Dawson is going to spread the ball around and we know the TE room is excellent.

I think the most important part of the last 2 days is not necessarily adding some kid who is gonna get 1000 yards, but it creates legitimate depth at the position and will allow much more rotation and the kids will be able to stay fresh.

You might wind up seeing 5 different receivers playing a significant amount of snaps and they should all be pretty solid players.

I tell young people all the time “ hard work and making good decisions can take you a very long way”. Don’t settle for ****. Just look at this cat , who saw this coming when he was a Sophomore in HS? He worked his *** off for what he wanted and now look at him.

Glad this worked out in our favor in the portal at WR. Hopefully the enhanced competition will light a fire under everyone’s *** and bring out the best in those who rise to the challenge.

Light up the scoreboard, show the premier QB and outside WR recruits we’re not ******* around anymore, and start landing the elites at those spots to get us to the next level.

This is the first time there’s going to be legit competition at all the WR positions in a long time. I still don’t see a real WR1 but there’s plenty of quality guys there.
I agree.... Mario knows the position needs to be faster so getting the guys that can go is a must... But... They need to be able to hang on to the ball as well...

Never stop asking kids to work hard, think smart, and do right. Some do and some don’t. The the proof is in results and the carryover is in their success. My daughter was a D1 athlete, four year starter, and we never not supported her drive to improve or for her “reach to exceed her grasp”. In the years since graduating that philosophy and attitude has served her well in life after college. Keep on spreading your truth and thanks.#CANESNATIONLIFER🙌🏽

It was already noticeable in the spring game. Now we are throttling up even more competition.

I’ve rewatched this film a few times and each time I’m more shocked at how good his route running is for his lack of playing. He’s not an Elite technician but he’s **** good as most aspects of the position. Sales routes well , stems and stacks routes and catches everything with his hands. He’s good in the short , intermediate , deep and run after catch. You can use him outside and in the slot. The sneaky aspect of his game is in the return game. Good pickup.

Love this guy's story.

Whatever was in the secret sauce in the evaluation of Colbie Young...I hope it's still around for this one.

An example of leaving no stone unturned.

Hope he's a hit for us. He just looks like a gamer. Everything is a little rough around the edges, but if he keeps putting in the work with - hopefully - better coaching...he can be a dude for us.
