JUCO punter Sam Irwin Hill

That's AFL style kicking. Trained to run and kick with either foot and under pressure. Watch the drop (end over end). It's better for accuracy.

Holy **** what a badass

"Irwin-Hill isn't just unique because he's Australian or because of his extremely strong leg - he had a 77-yard attempt that went 65 yards in the air and averaged 45.6 yards this season.

Irwin-Hill says he decides which leg to kick with based on which side of the line a defense will stack to try and block the punt.

"Kicking with both legs, in Australian Rules Football it's something you learn quite young," Irwin-Hill said. "My right is my powerful leg, but my left also works pretty well."

"It's very exciting," Irwin-Hill said. "I'm pushing toward visiting Miami this month and Arkansas in January. So my final decision hopefully would be around Jan. 20."

TAKE.

I don't know how anyone has watched Bosher and Botts all these years, especially on the heels of Daly and Zampogna, and not realized what a weapon a good punter / kicker can be.

I'd be shocked and happy if we got over 5 of those kids to sign with us in...
