JUCO DL Ufomba Kamalu visiting this weekend

he is a 2 star with really 1 offer from west virginia who would offer me to play defensive end they're that desperate and honestly he doesn't show me much of anything so this is just a whatever visit only good thing is this can be the first of many surprises this weekend

6'6" 270lbs 4.65 40 yard time and on his highlights he looks like Demarcus Ware?
How does a player like this slip so far under the radar that only a few people have even heard of him?
On his tape the guy looks like Jadaveon Clowney.
Doesn't look like a plan B guy but an unearthed diamond.

Pls don't say you're comparing this unknown recruit to two once in a decade players.

By the way, Ware wasn't exactly a top recruit before he went to college. Where did he play? Troy?
Same as Cameron Wake. How about Elvis Dumervil? The list is long and prestigious when it comes to NFL stars
who came out of nowhere through their whole careers to prove people wrong.
My favorite of all time Kurt Warner. Tony Romo.
Look at our Cane greats like Maryland, The Tez, Dorsey etc.,

4.65....I say prove it unless you believe everything you read on the net.

90% chance you never hear this guys name again after the visit.

9.9% he becomes a good player.

0.1% chance he is a star.

I'm sure his 4.65 is just as accurate as your percentages unless you happen to be Will Hunting.
Personally for D lineman I think his burst is more important and this big boy has a very quick first step, sheds blockers and can handle the double teams at least on the level he played against in his tape.

I was thinking more of a Julius Peppers type with Strahan's strength

****.. as long as he brings this guy with him.. WANT

100% there is no science or math to how you came up with those percentages.

With the players we have coming this weekend I'm pretty sure this isn't a nothing visit.
You don't bring in a group of thoroughbreds and then decide to bring in a plow horse just for the **** of it.
It's pretty obvious that Golden doesn't bring anyone in for an official visit unless they are seriously considering that player.

Lulz you are missing the point.

The point is you are a ****tard for comparing this guy to Jadeveon Clowney or Demarcus Ware, ESPECIALLY if your comparison is based on this highlight tape. I mean, come on man. You can't compare any other guy Miami is recruiting to the only other 2 defensive ends you've heard of... Nothing in that tape remotely reminds me nor should it remind anybody of Demarcus Ware. SMH...

I'm not saying the guy is a no good son of a ***** but honestly, come on man...

im not saying that, i mean he isn't a guy that will excite any of us right now but if he gets offered and commits just like figueroa, kerr and the other non big names i will trust AG and the staff that they got the right guy but for now the demarcus ware comparisons is waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy out there

It's just frustrating when donkeys like rudebuddha start calling a reach project kid who shows up on the scene last minute the next Demarcus Ware or Julius Peppers. The odds against that happening are astronomical.

Please go hang with your imaginary girlfriend.

Can everyone just chill? One guy made a reaching comparison and now you are just nuking him.

Nice. Reminds me of a young Reggie White or Michael Strahan. But his body scream Bruce Smith.

thank god Houston's the only competition.

sign him up.

For a more sane comparison, maybe Olsen Pierre?

Btw, I think Auburn and West Virginia have interest in him too so not exactly a reach

In actuality the guys a stereotypical 4-3 defensive tackle. Good height & lean on weight which I like. He already has some strength and conditioning program behind him so I think he'd be in pretty good shape by the time he got to miami.
