OVERSTOCK the DL, in case some **** like the last couple days happens. Not only after it happens.

All the major national defensive powers are using this formula...No need for Kool to go all Kehoe-like with his recruiting, and there is definitely NO NEED at all even pre Mcintosh/Norton/Johnson. To have somewhere around 4-5 defensive tackle official visits all season. ANY YEAR...Let alone a year it's a top 3 need not he team (along with tight end and corner)

The difference between Miami and the big dogs currently and has been for awhile. BAMA literally offers **** near EVERY Living breathing DT early on in recruiting ACROSS THE COUNTRY. Think im joking..start to look at next years class and then find the already ranked dt's and guarantee they have a bama offer. They have essentially been doing this since saban has been there. They cast a wide *** net. For example..new transfer DJ JOHNSON reached out to us...he was oneof the highest ranked dl in the country and Kul literally had to look him up and didnt even believe it was the kid. Doesnt really happen at Bama. I always find it perplexing considering the state of fla doesnt produce a great deal of elite dt's yearly...we should be in nationally at that position YEARLY.

This is true. People may laugh at this, but I truly believe Miami should pay Paranos just for identifying DT's. (I'm dead *** serious)

Kid makes it adamantly clear he wants to play DE on his social media.

Hope we land him but appears uphill battle against Gators and Tenn (although there is rumors Tenn new staff may not be quite as high on him)

I think he's a SSDE, that can maybe move inside on passing downs, but I hope we are trying to sell him on DE, because he considers himself at DE...And at either 19 or 20 years old, have to wonder if that 260 is close to his max weight.
 
Whatever the process for recruiting DT's has to change. Regardless of our depth we should always sign 2-3 DT's if possible.

Oh of course, but I don't think it's a matter of that. DE is a need too, and I think that's what he is SSDE.

You sign a JuCo player with the idea of him contributing immediately. This guy is 260, there's no way he puts on the 25+ lbs necessary to bulk up to DT and contribute there. If we're not recruiting him as a true DE we're wasting our ******* time.

We just lost are entire depth chart on the LDE side. There's a need for him at DE. Forget DT.
 
When does Mcintosh put out his little Instagram thingy. Trying to get this bad juju outta here and lock up these official visits

I remember at one point pete said kool is in charge of all DL recruiting (who gets offers who they look at) maybe that should change.

There's our tenth coach/recruiter. He can sniff out DT's like a blue tick hound.

Since we're clearly not going to get a badly needed Offensive Coordinator.
 
two years to play 2 right?

if we can grab this dude... (who i'm sure will give us a legitimate look with kool's track record)

we're looking at a sick defensive line the next few years
