Our guys can't beatdown OSU. Smith against our secondary last year has 20 catches 400 yards and 10 TDs

They should’ve figured it out before nsd. And they fumbled.

They should’ve thrown a huge fckng bag at Ward so he signed by Dec 21 and not declare.
You should’ve had at least one 5 star on the team instead of poff and Emory.

As much as no one wants to hear it, he was an osu fan and not a Miami fan. And he just won a title with his dream team.
Dude is now a buckeye and let that sht go fam.

Only way this works out is if osu takes a major step back next year and we have some guru at qb and are favored to win it all and he wants to solidify being the first receiver taken and feels that we can guarantee that more than osu in his 3rd year.
But as of today, we don’t have enough juice on the field nor in the bank to pry him away from that snow.
He has enough money to gulfstream charter his asz to the 305 whenever he wants.

This one hurts and it will be talked about for decades. Let it go and move forward.

Save the receipt: Christobal may or may not win a title here at Miami. But he will never sign a better receiver than J Smith.

For the record, I think we would lose to OSU. I do not think we would get throttled, asuming we didn't have some mad turnover game. I'm also assuming 2023 Guidry D, not 2024, and 2024 O with Cam. My point is simple - let's stop F'ing around and start knocking some teeth out. If the freakin Lions could go 15-2 (ad crap the bed in the playoffs) after 4 years, so can the Canes.

Agree with this a 1000%. It’s very unlikely he comes home however a simple phone call doesn’t hurt. If he says no then he says no and we move on

Spot on.

Hopefully lesson learned for staff - sometimes, its more than just relationships with HS recruits.

Should have overpaid Cam when we had the chance.
Should have overpaid JS when we had the chance. Nobody has exact specifics, but if we literally didnt offer him double what OSU did, we didnt calculate ROI correctly.
