Its just making everything harder. Think of how easy it would be to sell an innovative OC with a modern up to date Offense to kids. If MaRio's strength is recruiting, its baffling that they'd chose to do it with one hand tied behind their backs.

Gattass can't even get a WR job!!!!

I hear you, and I wasn’t referring to Cribby, but I have seen it from a few others in the past. All good, carry on.
I love how this whole discussion everyone is purposely acting blind as to who is actually being discussed lmao.

That initial guy said "insiders" but hes really just pointing at one guy and I have a feeling we all know who.

But everyone is chiming in to protect insiders as a whole now bc they think cribby is under attack.

The last few pages aren't about cribby. I suspect they are about whoever claimed Gattis to PSU was done.

Thanks.

Coaches are fired all the time. Im asking honestly. What other snag could there be? It truly doesn't make sense to me at this point. I really dont talk about it much because its honestly laughable.
Who knows what clauses were regrettably included in the contract. Someone raised earlier whether he needed to be able to get a comparable job as a requirement of the contract. I’m not saying it’s in there but if it is then we can’t just fire him. He could sue us for reputation and career damage potentially. We don’t know what’s going on but it’s been stated in here that it’s more than simply paying a buyout.

I know this question has come up and there hasn't really been a good answer...

But how is Arroyo "another disaster"?

Oregon OC stats:
36 ppg - 18th in the country
34.8 ppg - 25th in the country
35.4 ppg - 16th in the country

Maybe he's not a great HEAD coach, but I'm not sure why he is "another disaster" as an OC.

And for the love of God, don't give me the "Justin Herbert" nonsense.
Yeah Because having a future top 10 pick and NFL ROY who breaks rookie TD records and throws for 69 TD’s his first two years is irrelevant nonsense. Qbs like that are a dime a dozen…

That said, I wouldn’t call him a disaster but we should shoot higher than that…

Point of reference:
While I wanted to start this thread after the FSU game, it was requested that I wait until the season ended. Hence, I started this thread after our last game. Since the day I started this thread Josh Gattis has collected ~$300,000 in pay checks from UM.

Have a good day, everyone.

That initial guy who said insiders is including Cribby and I know this for a fact.

What’s bigger than money? Gattis has some dirt on Waribro?

Shouldn’t be difficult.
I have no inside knowledge on this situation, but one thing @Cribby 's posts would be consistent with is the parties negotiating a complex exit agreement. Firing a coach on the spot and just paying the buyout is the industry norm, but the industry's norms for hiring and firing are and have for a very long time been very sloppy and unnecessarily risky.

Im asking. Whos fault would that be if its something in the contract?

That would be wild especially since it seems as if gattis was not marios first choice.

If everyone does it and its industry norm then why is miami going against the norm?

CIS man love narratives over substance.

The "Justin Herbert" nonense is not that he was the QB but that Arroyo and Mario did not develop him and held him back.

The ppg was solid but the overall offense was kind of average. Believe they were in the 50’s in run and pass offense
