Idk man it's just a mess. Pretty much every HC makes a decision on their staff a week or two after the season and then hires their replacements a week or two after that and then they hit recruiting hard in January and start building the offense. It's been 7 weeks and we have not hired one coach which im sure is effecting the WR recruiting and we have no clue what's going on. Mario just doesn't seem to give af what the fans think or want. He's going to do things the way he wants them do wether their out of the ordinary or not. All I can say is he better win.
Or else what? You finally come out of the closet as a Bama fan?

Orlovsky just said the Ravens should look at Josh Gattis as OC. Closet UM fan?
If he gets this job, it tells me two things. Gattis and Jim are not on such bad terms. The Harbaughs feel so confident in their control of their offense they are fine with being the puppetmaster while someone else call plays as long as the puppet mastered their concepts.

Don’t think gattis and Jim are on bad terms just other coaches at michigan

not worried bout official gattis stuff anymore. I know hes gone.
I feel the same way about his employment but would like for the program to get a move on already. Who knows how long it will take for him to get a NFL job, advanced discussions be damned.

Honestly is our OC job even desirable? Really Rhett Lashlee is the only OC to have success here since Jedd Fisch like 10 years ago.

Josh Gattis came here as literally the broyles award winner. After one season he's probably set his career back 5 years and will be lucky to even get a Non play calling CO-OC gig.

Dan Enos came here as one of the top QB coaches in college, if he stayed at Bama he was in the running for a OC job. He came here, failed and had to take a RB coaching job at Cincinnati the following season.

James Coley came here as one of the hottest OC candidates in college football. He was FSU OC under Jimbo Fisher who was viewed as one of the top offensive minds in college football and many teams wanted him as OC. He had somewhat success early on but like the rest on this list he had to take a demotion when leaving and went to Georgia as WR coach.

You pair that with having to work for Mario Cristobal whose one of the most difficult coaches to work for in college. We all have heard the reports that Gattis wasn't Plan A,B or C and thats when Miami had some juice with TVD which they no longer have.
James Coley left because Jimbo wouldn't let him call plays.

These kinds of nonsense porsts are why the board gets on your case.

Are you trying to tell me I got the names mixed up? My post assumes John would not hire anyone his brother did not enjoy working with.

Mario may not care what any of us think, but his boss will if season ticket numbers dive because he keeps running out the same garbage on the field.
I'm a big Rad guy but if we're being completely honest, Mario doesn't have an actual boss for at least two more seasons. He has advisors but not a boss- or at least anyone that he would HAVE to look at like that.
