Nobody is being "board police". That's just a whiny response when snowflakes are mad that someone responded to their angry rants and didn't agree 100%.

Acknowledge the truth. I have consistently said that I want multiple Miami coaches to move on to new employment outside of the 33124/33146 zip code area. So I'm not, nor have I ever, arguing for Gattis to be retained.

All I'm doing is calling out the repetitive and useless nature of saying the same thing over and over and over again.

If the issue is repetitive uselessness, maybe take it up with the admins to provide more content or start new topics to discuss…

I’d even suggest you get your own time slot or office hours, call it The Scribe’s Study…the Almanac, TOC Talk… whatever works …

I'm assuming because nothing else makes sense on this timeline, that financial situations had to get sorted out between Mario and Rad.... like, hey Mario, we're about to eat $1.5+ mil on Gattis's contract, plus whatever new OC you bring in... same for Addae or whoever else.. Even though Mario's the gawd, I'm sure his boss had some feedback on the failures of those choices.... maybe they even had to figure out where the money is coming from to get it all sorted out...

I've said this before, a good AD like Dan needs to start BUDGETING for severance and buy-outs, because nearly every program in the country now incurs this expense (maybe not Alabama and UGa).

It's better to budget some severance/buyout money every single year than to let it become a big sticking point when you DO need to incur this expense all in one year...
