Look, even Manny Diaz got a job quickly. Even D'Onofrio got a job quickly. Somehow the CIS corporate structure/HR self-appointed geniuses are the only ones that invent a world where none of the Miami coaches can find a job anywhere else.

I don’t think he is ready to be on field anywhere but he if he went to fsu all I could do is laugh at this point. For how the last 15 years have gone for this program it would be fitting for him to go coach there

You can get that out of your head man. Gattis future with UM does not hinge on whether he can get a job on the open market. He has either been fired or retained.

Yes I believe he is fired. I’ve been clear about that. But until it’s announced or I bump into Mario in a urinal at a Miami restaurant and hear it from him, I won’t guarantee it.

If Mario hired our new OC but can’t announce it publicly, then he probably doesn’t feel much pressure to tell The public that Gattis is fired. Same goes for if he is still interviewing candidates. There will be a date where moving on from Gattis will have to go public. Until that date, Gattis has the chance to get a job and announce he is leaving us to save face.
