I get that, but do head coaches typically utilize guys they plan on firing THIS much? Even if he does get fired, the whole thing is bordering on bizarre at this point.

I at least hope Mario is running a search behind the scenes, but feel like something more concrete would have leaked out by now if that were the case.

Ok, but how was he driving the golf cart???

Was he aggressive and tailgating the cart in front of him or was he lagging behind with his blinker flashing for no reason?

This will tell us alot about where his head is at. If he was driving aggressive it could mean he is still engaged and giving it all he's got or it could mean his ****ed off because he knows he is fired and Mario is still making him work when he could be home baking cookies.

I just don't know.

Some posters are going to get their panties in a bunch over this. He is still getting paid and this is a big weekend. There are a lot of kids down here. It shouldn’t signal anything.

The coaching clock doesn’t start until after Dec 21st.

If he’s driving that’s a good sign because it means he can’t be on his phone recruiting. They usually have a staffer drive

I have a hard time believing Gattis, or anything he did here this past season is a major selling point, and certainly not beyond anything Mario is selling himself. I'd have more faith in some grand plan if Mario hadn't, you know, hired Gattis.
