Joseph Jackson offensive highlights

Best part of that film was how no tackler wanted no parts of him one on one. Very intimidating player. I see no Jelani Hamilton in this kid.

Jesus Christ. Idt I've ever seen anything like that lol He's gotta be one of the most underrated players in the nation. That is ELITE athletism at that size.

Yup. I do not believe there is a better DE prospect after watching that tape.

His recruitment has been very very quiet..... I know he comitted a while ago but i havent hear much about him on any site

Gulliver must have awful coaching not to take advantage of some of the dudes they have. On a different note, the last time I saw a kid that big and athletic on offense was Jadeveon Clowney. Hopefully he can play like him on defense as well.

Edit: Now that I rewatched some of Clowney's film, Jackson may be a more fluid athlete

This guy embodies why I am in disagree with labeling Haskins a "physical specimen" or some sort of athletic marvel.

They're roughly the same size. Jackson is more explosive, more fluid, has smoother running mechanics, and accelerates quicker.
You are making an unfair comparison. This guy's tape is absurd. Someone below says it's the best he's seen since P Buch. That's 17 years ago. Not saying that's right but the point is, you're trying to claim Haskins isn't an athletic specimen by pointing to a freak.

Haskins looks like a very good athletic specimen. He's not as fast or fluid as Johnson. Ok. He still has hands, can run, has agility, played QB, HB and TE in HS, and looks like a kid who could be a real solid TE or even DL if he keeps growing.

I actually think Haskins is more fluid. I'm not sure Jackson could play QB and make moves like Haskins.

Jackson just has such a major advantage in explosiveness and power. Kool is a godsend for him, and vice versa.

Dude looks like Marcus Dupree in high school the way he gets an extra 5+ yards with 4 kids grabbing onto him draggin him down.

Def. like that it's been a silent recruitment so noone will know who this cat is when he explodes on the field for the U

Well yeah that's kind of my point. Jackson is a freak show. He's an athletic marvel and a head turner. That's why I'm comparing the two. If people are going to label Haskins as such, here is your benchmark. This is the type of physical monster you're talking about when you throw those terms around.

Haskins doesn't come close.

Different kind of athletes but both are great athletes no doubt. Its like trying to compare Gronk and Jimmy Graham..Who is the real freak? The answer is they both are its just their makeup is different. Frankenstein can be created in different ways.

That's where I guess I disagree with a lot on here.

I think Haskins is a nice tight end. Moves pretty well for his size. Has a great frame. I'm just taking exception to some of the big time labels being thrown on him. I'm arguing Jackson is the type of athlete that deserves those type of "freak" labels. Their tapes don't lie. When you watch Jackson you're sitting there screaming "holy shlt!" because you shouldn't be able to do that at that size.

Haskins is a nice tight end prospect with above average athleticism, but he's not dropping jaws the way Jackson is.

Jackson and Byrd might be the two most talented guys in this class.
