“Of course it’s the home school, everybody dreams [of play there] and loves them,” he said of Miami. “UM, their coaches are really pushy. They recruit you one minute and then one minute they act very stupid with players. They really do.”

I really hate these U school kids.

Something is up with that school / coach / etc. ???? Don't know. VERY Strange...

It's all about influence... The most highly touted recruit on their team isn't being recruited very hard, while being courted by several other teams . No matter the reason, it makes for a less than exciting reputation in that locker room.

The one school I hate the most. Can't stand them clowns. Low-life, slimey, sheisty, grimey dorks who pound their chests everywhere they go but can't win any games without stealing other school's players. And they're not even shy about it. They'll sit in your stands at a game and scout your players. They'll get your player's phone numbers and blow up their phones. There's no limits to what they will do to steal your kids.

F*ck that school.

I thought it was funny that cane305 had the same avi as Savvvynole from Whoreslant. Just recently changed too. Not saying they're one in the same but I found it a little odd.

this staff better not fk this up. Thats not good news if a kid says that and its not **** hes gonna lie for no reason. We should of been on Wilson instead of being late to the party.

Late to the party would imply they even want to be at the party. I don't think Wilson gets a scholarship if he wants to be a corner. Safety? We'll see. You've learned nothing about kids lying or saying things they don't mean apparently. Collins lied. Thomas was lying/pressured. What happens if they don't get Scarlett two years from now. Some other south Florida RB won't want in? I don't care about any U School kids.

Wouldn't surprise me. cane305 used to give nole updates on here like Canes really want to know what those hillbillies are doing. smh

To actually analyze the quote, the pushy part may be for pushing for early commits. The second part is how we drop guys all of a sudden

Regardless of the bias, not a positive sign for our staff of expert recruiters. Quotes like this and examples like the booker t fiasco, the Amari cooper situation leads me to believe that our strategy is not sound. We haven't found te right mix and plan yet, which in year three is a bit puzzling

Anyone want to celebrate the +1000 quotes of kids saying how great our coaches are, etc, (even some that decide to go somewhere else) or is the plan to freak the eff out based on what this one fifteen year-old said?

I'm gonna wait until I consistently hear about our coaches flaking on kids before getting worried.

If so, why we land guys like AQM, Sandland and T. Howard? If I´m not wrong all three were another team lock... maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with good strategy.

Strange how some people jump at this staff without hear their side of the history. Our strategy is so flawled that even with **** NCAA on us(incredible how this is always overlooked), years of "irrelevance", we are still landing top porspects.

We are luck to have a guy like Golden in times like this...

There's no point arguing with these dip****s here. Most of em are probably 15 years old like the U school kids.

To me it sounds like Golden just don't play the game, doesn't want to spend months and months on a kid who is withdrawn and then get left with depth chart issues come February.

We really want you here... "Oh you're in my top TWENTY for sure coach". (dodging another kid texting, begging to be part of the class) How about now, you in? Not sure? "I mean now you're in my top NINETEEN for sure, I eliminated FAU" Ok well, we want you here but we gotta look for other options... (takes commit for solid recruit who wants to be here) "Coaches lied to me, don't trust them, they were my dream school"

Going against all the potential sanctions/negative recruiting along with depth chart issues caused by the previous coach we can't be playing games.

Not saying this is a good or bad thing but this is how Golden recruits IMO. He probably will allow a few kids to make NSD decisions but most of the class will be set in advance.

He will endlessly recruit a kid who is honest but I don't think he is willing to play games.

you cant expect Scarlett to act like everything is cool w/ UM when he has seen all of the guys he respects as football players "dissed" by this staff.
