Jordan Lyle is not Hurt

Glad someone noted the contact balance. Being able to stay on your feet and keep going forward even when a defender has a proper angle on you is a superpower and this kid has it.
His high school tape was just a compilation of plays that made me wonder how the **** he stayed on his feet. I thought he was the best back we had a real shot at and I really didn’t think it was close between him and Riley.

Looks like we hit one here (It’s early, I get it).

You can just tell he’s better than Fletcher. Better balance. Better burst. Tough runner that doesn’t go down on first contact. Talking ****, I love that not gonna lie.

If Martinez goes pro, he’s RB1. If not, he’s still RB 1B imo. Deserves more carries going forward. Use him next week against a Syracuse defense that gave up 331 yards on the ground against BOSTON COLLEGE.

So I said that Mario gets overrated recruits - which is true.

Lyle had a great game. Hes incredibly fast and had a phenomenal long run where he kept his balance and kept running.

But are you seriously going to tell me that OSUs RB corps is hurting without Lyle there? No, of course they're not.

Never once said I don't like Lyle or that I'm upset we got him.

You morons can't figure that out. Keep thinking x=y.
I'm just glad OSU pushed out Fletcher and Lyle so we could sweep up their leftovers.

His running style reminds me of Adrian Peterson in college. Not saying he will be AP, but his vision, burst and shiftiness are similar.
