I can only see this being favorable to us at this point, idk maybe Saban & Bama make a serious move, but with majority of STA defensive recruits being committed to us I can see them making a serious push to recruit him on our behalf, they must have a group chat or something, we’ve been on this kid for a while even tho we slow played, what Bama is doing today is even more slow play, I trust the kid is smart to look beyond that

Our STA committed boys must be in his ear already. Also, Ohio State seemed to be our main competition for Wingo and Rosemy. Battle was trying to recruit them there. Lezzgo!
Harley is a leader you know he's being a big brother right now. Everybody is coming at him but you know Richt has a gameplan for everybody on how to do this and then come closing time he'll seal it with the parents

That’s my thought as well. Would make sense I think
If Meyer gets fired - and it seems more likely than not at this point - I don't think any P5 school will touch him for a while; if at all. He'll be too toxic for some time.

As an attorney, I look at the legal side of this situation. And as I see it, Urban Meyer and OSU are currently negotiating a settlement. The "Paid Leave" allows the parties to terminate the contract amicably without endless litigation. In other words, Meyer is gone. I don't see how he comes back.

I’m just praying the kid took the bag and decommits and he comes here. He gets the cash and we get him. Everyone wins.

But on a serious note. Urban is scum. That Florida program has more arrests than anyone and he left that place in ruins. He’s garbage

Good. ***** that guy and I hope he never gets another job unless it’s in some ****** city in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe. I just think someone will eventually hire him after he 1) publicly apologizes 2) donates a large chunk of change to some sort of domestic violence charity. It’s college football, lots of money, he’s a top 5 name for coaching. Give it 2-3 years, bet he goes somewhere

Lulz at those that said this would just get swept under the rug. It’s the lead story with Olberman on SC right now.

But the Canes never gave up on him - he’s been in regular contact with Mark Richt and Ephraim Banda.

“They talk about regular stuff, how I’m doing in practice, how the team is looking, stay in contact with me,” Battle said. “I can relate to them.”

And with the recent issues at Ohio State, Battle says “That has to play out, then I’ll see where I want to go after that.”

There's a USA Today article that spells out the provisions in his contract concerning domestic violence. The provisions were added into his 2 year extension that he signed last year. Basically, this situation would violate those provisions and be "cause" for firing. I posted the link in another thread.

He coming lol 😂

F*ck I almost lost another cell phone when I read that this kid is excited about the Bama offer.

This situation and his teammates being committed should make him a CANE LOCK.

But posters on here told us they knew how the coaches operated and that they surely just gave up
