Johnny Football Suspend for the 1st Half of Rice game

"The NCAA has acknowledged Manziel did not receive money for signing autographs, the source said."

So let me get this straight. The NCAA has heard from multiple people, who's job it is to buy/sell autographs that they paid him for signatures. Yet, after his denial they acquiesce and agree he didn't.

BUT they'll take the word of a felon and liar as long as he said something twice....

Hmmm... nevermind, I guess this makes sense afterall

You have to understand. The NCAA is a bunch of liars and thieves without real kobs. So, we honest businessmen say something they have no point of reference. However, when a piece of crap liar and thief who never worked for a living talks, well that is their own kind and they understand him.

Clearly, the key is to make an allegation twice.....

NCAA says it determined Johnny Manziel didn't accept $ for autographs "based on the information provided by Manziel."

Money talks, Manziel walks

There is no way in **** Manziel sat in a hotel room and signed thousands of autographs and didn't get compensated.

you can't make this **** up. The next sentence should read "SEC team, therefore discipline not required"

Should saw this coming, but it still feels like getting bent over a pool table and having every pool ball jammed directly up the ***. NCAA is a joke and should be abolished.

I'm usually the one saying that UMiami fans should let go of the persecution complex, but stuff like this makes it hard. Makes it really tough not to at least wonder.

I'm trying, Ringo. I'm trying really hard to be the shepherd.

Pretty thorough investigation.
Took all of 14 seconds by an intern from a special needs school from the looks of it.

me too. I hate conspiracy theories, but this "investigation" is making it really hard to believe that there isn't something nefarious going on behind the scenes

Any thoughts you may have had to go out the window with this decision. They admit he broke a rule and 1 half suspension works. Kid has made more money selling those autographs than anything our players were proved to have taken. And they solved this mystery in a week. We are in year 3. SMH.

Plus, the fact that a player can clear himself while autograph seller's words hold no weight, while we are a complete 180 degrees situation where our players words hold no weight but a convicted felons word can condemn an entire team

the language of the findings really irks me as well. "NCAA and Texas A&M confirm there is no evidence.." An investigation should read more along the lines of 'NCAA investigation finds no evidence in..' It's as if they initially thought there was no violation and the two parties just looked at each other and said 'nope, nothing here'. The suspension is a joke though. It seriously makes a mockery of the whole thing. If you "didn't find anything" then he should be clear to play. None of this bull**** sit out a half so ole Johnny learns his lesson and becomes a better person for it

the timing of the news when it breaks is the most interesting to me. If it breaks in the Florida week, its so ******* obvious

I don't know why part of it makes me smile. We've had this investigation and are on the heels of absolute program/coaching incompetence. Yet, we're not that far away from scaring the **** out of people.

I have no doubt anymore that it will be thursday or Friday of that week. They're trying to make this hurt as much as possible because they know they got ****.

Almost as bad as letting Oregon skate for buying Seastrunk.
I thought Manziel's college career was over.
Now he just gets to rest for a half drinking Bloody Mary's to get over the previous night's bender.
